OnePlus 5 – Simply A Great Companion: The overall experience with the latest sensation from OnePlus i.e OnePlus 5 has been an extraordinary one again & this has been continued since past few years with the predecessors too. The OnePlus 5 covers nearly all the needed specifications that may be expected from a flagship device & that too at much lower price than the rivals like Samsung, Xiaomi & Huawei. Though most of you already know that this is the fourth major phone from OnePlus that is already very popular among users due to its heavy specs in a lower price range device.

The Saga Continues To Deliver The Best Through OnePlus 5:
The brand has served its users with high ended specifications & features according to their demands through its hardware like the chipset, the fast charging battery & the dual lens camera as well. Although this one doesn’t have that super bezel or any type of water resistant body which its competitors may be having at the same time, OnePlus 5 cost much lower than them. Let’s talk about every aspect of the device one by one:
Hardware: Whats Inside?
The OnePlus 5 is equipped with the latest chipset from Qualcomm i.e Snapdragon 835 which gives much better performances (the 128GB with 8GB RAM) if compared with the Pixel & LG G6. The device is available with two set of hardware one having 64GB storage with 6GB of RAM while the other one consists of 128GB storage with 8GB of RAM. This type of power packed hardware already seems to be dearest one for the users & from its performance it has also proved the same.
Body & Display: Aluminised Finishing
The handset designed by Anodized Aluminum, features a 5.5 inches of AMOLED, Full HD display having a resolution of 1920 x 1080 with 401 ppi. The display is protected with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 5 this time which is much better than the predecessors. When talked about connectivity, the device again lies on the top with its 2×2 MIMO, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, 2.4G/5G & Bluetooth 5.0, support apt-X & apt HD. A fingerprint scanner has been installed just below the screen for a secure login option every time.
Camera: Featuring Dual Lenses
The Rear Camera is having dual lens i.e A Wide Angle Camera with Sony IMX 398 sensor that is 16 MP & the another one Telephoto having Sony IMX 350 sensor which is of 20 MP. The camera is supported with a Dual LED Flash & has the ability to take best shots even in dim lighting scenes. It also supports features like Video recording at 4K resolution with Slow Motion 720p & Time Lapse options on the go.
Software: Keeping It Simple
Moving towards the Software now, It is as simple as the device. The interface is awesome which is on the top of Android 7.1.1 Nougat, that makes things easy to navigate too. Hopefully, the system will be getting an update to the Android O also. For Digital payments the NFC & Android Pay is also preloaded. The device also supports Night mode display which lowers the display brightness (basically Tints) for easy working at night.
Battery: The PowerHouse
The OnePlus 5 is assembled with a 3300 mAh of non removable battery which is little lower than the predecessors but the actual performance is even better than the earlier models i.e 3T. Battery even gets additional support through OnePlus Proprietary Dash Charging technology for a quick recharge. I used the dash charging system & was amazed to see around 50% of power backup in the battery by just 20-22 minutes of charging.
The Price: Guess What?
Price is a big subject of matter now a days in this competitive world & OnePlus has done its judgement very smartly while setting up the price slightly in common man’s budget as the 64GB/6GB RAM model costs $479 while the 128GB/8GB (higher model) will cost you $539 & that’s not a big amount for such a great companion in today’s world.
