Xiaomi’s Mi 5s and Mi 5s Plus Finally Reveal: Xiaomi, the Chinese company or know as Apple of China has launched their phones today. Xiaomi Smartphones are having specs like top manufacturers and sells them at half the price and this true even today as Xiaomi has launched two new smartphones in the market.
Xiaomi held this event in their home country China where they launched The Mi 5s and the Mi 5s Plus, sound like iPhone 5s which may arrive in two models. But both these devices are answering to Apple new iPhone 7 both are having a powerful processor, dual camera, and nice design.
Xiaomi’s Mi 5s and Mi 5s Plus Finally Reveal
Spec on Mi5s include 5.15-inch F-HD display which looks crispy and vivid. From inside device is powered with Snapdragon 821 chip having 3GB RAM for 64GB and 4GB RAM for 128GB of Storage. The device also features fingerprint scanner, on rear side it include same 12MP rear camera like iPhone 7, on the front side, it has a 4MP sensor with a f/2.0 aperture and 2-micron pixels.
The price is RMB 1,999 or $300 for the 3GB/64GB variant, while the 4GB/128GB version costs RMB 2,299 or $345.
Talking about its sibling 5s Plus is more powerful than 5s as it includes 5.7-inch F-HD display which accounts same effect than the previous one. While from inside it also features Snapdragon 821
Clocked at 2.35GHz Chip, 4GB RAM for 64 GB while 6GB RAM for 128GB of Storage. This device also features fingerprint sensor.
While the major improvement we see in the sector of the camera this device has Sony-made dual, 13MP camera on the back the setup being similar to the dual camera setup on the Huawei P9 as one camera takes color snaps while other monochrome for increased sharpness. As this camera is not capable of Bokeh effect which becomes a more likely feature in iPhone. The selfie camera of device features 4MP sensor.
The price for the 4GB/64GB variant is RMB 2299 ($345), while the 6GB/128GB version costs RMB 2,599 ($390).

The fingerprint sensor on the Mi5s is ultrasonic and placed under glass, which means that its wear and tear is less as compared with other, Fingerprint sensor of this device is blazing fast and accurate sometimes. While the point of attraction of this Mi 5s Plus includes dual camera you’ll found in iPhone 7 Plus but the fin functionality is different. The sensor on the Mi 5s — Sony’s IMX378 1/2.3″ CMOS sensor with 1.55um pixels — is more advanced than the 13-megapixel sensors on the Mi 5s Plus.
Talking about the design of new Mi 5s both device looks identical as their predecessor Mi5, both having an aluminum body and a curvy back, the Plus has around fingerprint sensor just below the dual camera, while the design of Mi 5s back is looking much cleaner.
