The TENAA listing reveals that the device will sport a 5.99-inch display with a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9, which means that Xiaomi will now go forward with the edge to edge display design pattern. This year many flagships like Apple, Samsung, LG, Google, and others have already adopted this feature and it works really well.
Talking about other features of Redmi Note 5, it will have 3 or 4GB RAM, with 32 or 64GB of storage option while you can use microSD card slot as well. The device will include a 12MP primary camera, a 5MP selfie snapper and a 4,000 mAh battery, this smartphone also has a fingerprint sensor on the backside of the device which means that the device won’t have Face Unlock feature. While there is no sign of processor which Xiaomi will prefer but they may go for Snapdragon 630.
Including all these features Redmi Note 5 have potential to outsell the Redmi Note 4. So we have to wait and watch what more Xiaomi has to offer from this Redmi Note 5, while the device may cost around CNY 899 (around $135).
