What To Expect From Your Favorite Brands At IFA 2017? Hope you all are well prepared for the Europe’s Largest Tech Show at Berlin again with much higher energy levels & excitement than in 2016. This time the IFA is scheduled to take place from 1st Sep to 6th Sep 2017 in which almost hundred of companies will be showcasing their numerous products & launching their technologies like every year. We are here to take you all through a short briefing about the Trade show offs that the tech companies will be displaying this year. Although IFA 2017 is just a few days to go, only a few companies have shared the details of their upcoming products & techs that might get revealed during the show. So we will take you through the expected products that might get announced according to the guesses & predictions made through the earlier trade show.

IFA 2017, What To Expect From The Big Brands?

Although some of the brands have already announced their much-awaited products before the IFA still there is much more to go for. Take a closer look what these big brands might bring this IFA 2017:

Sony: 

At the IFA 2017, Sony is expected to reveal its new smartphone series this time as they had already made their announcement regarding the press conference they had called on 31st of August. Sony may come up with its bezel-less smartphone that will have up to 6 inches of display with an aspect ratio of 18:9, following the most common trend nowadays. As Sony is known for manufacturing smartphones with larger bezels, this bezel-less smartphone news might come true as the display manufacturer JDI, a joint venture comprised of Sony, Toshiba, and Hitachi has already started mass-producing its Full Active QHD display with very thinner bezels.

Sony is also heard of bringing up three another device along side the bezel less smartphone i.e Xperia X1, XZ1 &  XZ1 Compact, that may get unveiled at IFA 2017. The Xperia X1 is a mid-ranged device may come with 5 inches of Full HD display & featuring Snapdragon 660 chipset with 4GB RAM. The XZ1 is reported to be a high-end device featuring 5.2 inches of Full HD display, powered by Snapdragon 835 CPU & a RAM of 4GB. While the XZ1 Compact is just a smaller display (4.6 inches) smartphone having the similar configuration to XZ1.

Lenovo: 

As Lenovo has also made an announcement regarding its press conference on 31st of August, it is sure the brand would be introducing some breath-taking & surprising new devices a day before the Official start of IFA 2017. This time Lenovo might launch the successor series for the K6 smartphones as they had already unveiled the K6 series, Moto Z Play & its Yoga Book also Yoga 910 at the IFA 2016. The brand has this time can unveil its new ultra book & new convertible laptops with the succeeding series of K6 smartphones for sure.

LG:

LG falls under the category of those brands that didn’t announce any smartphone devices at IFA 2016 so things can go differently this year that would be hopefully very good as per this aspect is considered. LG is all set to launch its LG V30 at the IFA 2017 & they had already confirmed it through their announcement for the same on 31st of August in a press conference. And this is going to be the first time the company will be showcasing its V series of the device at the IFA.

According to sources the LG V30 is will be a high-ended device that will go head to head with the upcoming Galaxy Note 8 and others by featuring an OLED display, the latest Snapdragon 835 chipset, a dual-camera setup on the back, a new ESS Quad DAC, and will be available in three storage variants: 32, 64, and 128 GB. This time it won’t be having a removable battery like its predecessor & that will change things up at the show.

HTC:

You all must be already knowing that the company has made an announcement in February, 2017 to bring at least  6-7 smartphones this year & out of which they had already introduced the U11, U Play & the U Ultra which brings us to a clue that this time HTC may reveal at least 3-4 high-ended or mid-ranged smartphones at the IFA 2017.

A device codenamed as Ocean Life is also the talk of the industry nowadays which may get unveiled as HTC U11 Life also, featuring a 5.2 inches of Full HD display & powered by Snapdragon 630 CPU with a 16MP Camera both at the Rear & Front. Surprisingly it may also come with HTC’s Edge Sense Technology similar to that of the U11. Hopefully, we will be getting something powerful from HTC at the IFA 2017.

Samsung:

Samsung at present is the talk of the industry with its recently unveiled Galaxy Note 8 a few days back. But that provided another opportunity to have a handful experience of the Note 8 in real at the event. The possible segments that Samsung would come up at the event are its Gear Fit 2 Pro, that was also hinted through its Spanish website recently by mistake for short time.  Also the Gear Fit 2 Pro might feature a 1.5-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 216 x 432 pixels, 4 GB of internal storage space, and a 200 mAh battery. It will be also water resistant to 5 ATM, sporting with Bluetooth 4.2 as well as GPS, and will be available in at least two color options black and black/red.

Another big revelation may come up with Bixby Enabled Wireless Earbuds like the Airpods & also the Bixby powered Bluetooth speaker may get announced at the IFA 2017 as Samsung is all planned to enter the market with its speaker segment too & will try to give a tougher competition to the Amazon Echo, Google Home. And as per DJ Koh, the president of Samsung’s mobile division, this is about to come soon, so we can expect it at this event.

Huawei:

Huawei has announced for a similar press conference like others at the IFA 2017 but on 2nd of September. The company is seemed to be focussing to show off its Artificial Intelligence efforts at the IFA 2017 but we still cannot say what they are going to reveal this time. Possibilities also turn the heads towards its very Digital Assistant which will move side by side to the Google Assistant & other AI’s.

Huawei has already announced the Nova 2 & Nova 2 Plus which are the successors to the last IFA 2016 launches i.e  Nova & Nova Plus. But as these devices are still not available to the western markets, there is the possibility it may get officially launched in Europe during this show. The company has also announced the launch of its Mate 10 phablet on 16th of October in Munich, Germany, so that would also not be coming up during the event.
