Top 5 Most Expected But Lacked Windows 10 Mobile Features: As we all are very much aware of Microsoft’s Windows Mobile OS not going to get any major update sooner or later & also the company is not expected to release any new Mobile devices in between. So here we are with the top most wanted & expected features to be enrolled in the Windows 10 Mobile OS before everything gets abandoned in order for attempting to develop its next generation phones. All the Windows Mobile device users are now most are on the Windows 10 platform & also expect much from the software developer & up gradation team. We have compiled here the top 5 expected features for your convenience, so let’s get started.
Most Expected Windows 10 Mobile Features, Before Everything Gets Abandoned From Microsoft
Some of the expected features are that which the company might have already started serving to its users & unexpectedly they are not here at present. Everything over here is not a big deal for Microsoft to bring down in real time to the Windows 10 Mobile Users as it needs minor changes & considering the present position of the company, that doesn’t seem too far to be fetched. We will be talking about them one by one:
1) Pick-up Where You Left Off:
This new feature was already introduced to the PC’s with the Creator’s update & the same allows the user to resume their work from the Apps across different devices where they left off from any of their Windows 10 devices. This is done by allowing Cortana to share data from Apps across the Windows 10 devices & hence allowing to pick up from where they left off.
At present, the feature is only limited to the Windows 10 PC’s while the Windows 10 Mobile appears to have been Omitted. Also, the addition of the feature would benefit much to the Mobile users thus makes more sense while sharing between a PC & Mobile to resume work on the Go. We all will get benefitted whenever we are about to lose any work due to moving on somewhere leaving behind our PC’s at home, the Mobile feature may prevent these circumstances & hence we expect this feature to be in.
2) New Emoji Update:
A very frustrated user experience there have been with the existing Windows 10 Mobile users & if the company doesn’t bring any updated Emoji’s to the Windows 10 Mobile users, then they will surely notice that the new emoji are not showing up & working on Windows 10 Mobile devices. In spite of the original emoji, they will only see square boxes wherever the new emoji will not be displayed correctly.
I being a fan & now a regular user of the same while chatting or commenting feel this feature lacking behind as compared to other OS. But if you are not a fan of emoji then lacking this feature will not affect you much but if you are like me then you will be surely disappointed in the Windows 10 Mobile Experience without those additional features being required.
3) Night Light Display Settings:
As the Night Light settings are affecting & are meaningful to the PC & tablets, the same way they are to the Mobile Phones too but unfortunately we haven’t yet got any such option with the Windows 10 Mobile OS. Actually, the Night Mode makes more sense on the Phones as now in the current generation most of us spend our maximum time seeing our phones & also most of the phones have the ability to perform maximum works as on the PC.
People are also more likely to be using their phones at night after all it is the handiest electronic device to communicate with the social media rather than a PC or tablet. The Night Light feature would be very much beneficial for the Windows 10 Mobile phone users just like the iPhone users who are already enjoying the Night Shift mode. Most expect fully Microsoft may add some kind of feature that may automatically turn on/off the color profiles according to the daylight timings at specific times as they already have a built-in color profile feature.
4) New Customized Tile Size:
This feature might be an expected one from most of them so that we can increase the tile size of our favorite Apps for getting a better access to that particular slot. We will have a customized tile option in the Windows 10 Mobile OS in order to have a larger tile of one’s requirement.
And the company already have experimented with it in the very first Insider Preview build for Windows Phone while removed it very shortly as most of us didn’t even have noticed the change in tile size.
As we all must be knowing about the company’s current working on CShell phones but most probably that would not be coming to these existing Windows handsets. Everyone wishes to do & have the things on Windows Mobile as they do on the PC so here is the expected one.
5) Windows Hello Optimization:
At present, the Windows Hello feature is very slow on the Windows 10 Mobile devices & the users often have to suffer due to its embarrassing performance when compared to the iOS & Android biometric authentication methods.
Few problems that users faced since the Windows Hello release include the slow Login experience when using Iris on the Lumia 950 & 950 XL & that is just because of the Microsoft’s un-optimized Windows Hello Animation.
To make the experience better & faster, Microsoft must remove the animation feature as they already did accidentally for a short period when it got removed in an Old Windows 10 Mobile Insider Preview build, keeping the Windows Hello Feature running faster than earlier. But don’t know why they added the feature back in the next update hence again making the Windows Hello experience slower as earlier. They must get rid of this animation for a better & faster experience if possible.
