Nokia’s First True Android Flagship Phone i.e Nokia 8 Is Out Here:
As the Brand is really willing to fly high again in the market & lead their role in the specific sector, they have to be an extraordinary performer & shine as a different star out there. The Nokia 8 is as expected Power packed by Snapdragon 835 with a RAM of 4GB which is reasonably a good combination. Featuring a 5.3 inches of QHD display of 554 ppi of resolution having a Corning Glass 5 (2.5D glass) with internal storage of 64GB which can be further increased through external microSD support.
The handset will be offered with two configurations one with 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage & another one with 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage options. Backed up by a 3090 mAh of the battery will deliver the full day service to its users. It doesn’t have any waterproofing although getting a splash proofing with IP45 & unexpectedly the Nokia 8 will have some physical buttons too.
The Nokia 8 seems to be having a great camera from an emerging partnership with Zeiss, which in turn had brought to us an excellent Dual 13 MP rear camera setup that combines a monochrome & a color sensor as well. They combine the shots into a single one with greater contrast by using “Image Fusion Technology”. Having a 13MP camera sensor at the front including autofocus almost have the same module as at the rear end. This time it’s camera also includes additional features like a special mode i.e “Boothie” while having a Two-tone flash with apertures of f/2.0. This Boothie feature will allow the user to capture the photos or video using footage from both the front and rear cameras, splitting down the middle 50/50. And that can be directly streamed afterward to social sites like Facebook or YouTube from the camera app, no matter you shoot in this mode or record regular videos.
The recording Mics being used by Nokia 8 are also provenly superb & all credit goes to the Ozo Audio. The 360 degree VR cameras used to have this technology earlier in Hollywood & this is the first time it has been used in any Mobile Phone. If we talk about the software part the Nokia 8 will be having Android 7.1.1 Nougat, although Nokia has used Google’s vision of Android in every aspect from the settings to apps & more. The popular one i.e Android O has been also in the testing phase for the Nokia 8 which shows some quick availability of the update to it.
