Sony’s First Wireless Smart Speaker With Google Assistant Built-In Introduced At IFA 2017: Yes Sony has line up its first ever Wireless Smart Speaker i.e LF-S50G With Built-in Google Assistant. The LF-S50G combines Sony’s high quality quality sound from a 360° speaker system by taking help directly from Google Assistant. Although Sony is known for its crystal clear, soothing sound delivering speakers but at the same time they are always fascinating too. This speaker mostly resembles the earlier lineups by its rivals like Apple HomePod, Amazon Echo or the Google Home. The LF-S50G’s compact design is packed with features that make your smart speaker even smarter & look wise it is very much similar to the HomePod from Apple.

The “Gesture Control” feature allows the user to adjust the volume or skip to the next track without directly touching the speaker, and simply by waving hand nearby. With JIS-compliant IPX3*10 splash-proof capabilities that make it suitable for use even in the kitchen, the LF-S50G reflects Sony’s commitment to audio quality and ease of use. Get it activated by just one button Bluetooth pairing mode & that can also connect to other bluetooth speakers within its range.
A separate key has been provided in order to mute the two michrophones in case you don’t want to get interrupted within your valuable conversations. Both the michrophones are positioned at the top with a rubber cap, giving it a fully splash proof design as rated with IPX3.
The top of the LF-S50G also supports gesture controls. A rotation of a finger clockwise over the top of the speaker will increase volume, and movement in the opposite direction reduces it & you can easily skip back and forth between songs by moving your palm over the top of the speaker as left to right to skip forward, and the other way to skip back a track.
You can also manage your everyday tasks like setting a calendar event, Setting an alarm, Checking on how your favourite team is playing, Checking the day to day traffic & taking care of your life without ever touching a button. A dot matrix display however is another great addition to the great speaker & it is very similar to that of the Echo. And with this LED clock display you will never need to ask Google for the time, which can also be diminished & even turned off. The Smart Speaker will be offered with 3 color variants i.e White, Black & Blue by the mid of October at a cost of $199.
