Samsung has officially announced its plan of launching a new device in its A-series being known for brands budget segment in India on Wednesday, September 11th. In a tweet earlier today, the brand said that they have decided to launch a device in their A-series, but they didn’t say anything about the name of the device. However, we hunted our sources for the details and got the device will be named Galaxy A50s. The brand has been promoting Galaxy A50s for quite a time.
If you have missed some of these promos that Samsung has been running for quite a while, The brand earlier tweeted a GIF that suggested that Galaxy A50s will come with Samsung pay support – a payment platform owned by the brand and is active in many countries.
We are quite sure that Samsung is set to launch many more iterations in their lower-midrange series to be named as Galaxy A30s and A20s but we are not sure about this as we didn’t have any tip regarding launches of other devices.
Samsung Galaxy A50s will be an upgrade over Galaxy A50, which comes with a Super AMOLED display of Full HD+ Quality and Infinity-U notch and Samsung’s in house chip Exynos 9610 chipset, Up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of in-built storage. In-camera department Galaxy A50 features a triple rear camera setup with a configuration of 48MP+8MP+5MP along with a 32MP selfie camera and in-display fingerprint scanner and 4.000mAh battery and system running on OneUI, Samsung’s custom skin running on top of Android 9 (Pie).
Hope that Samsung again make a dent into smartphone market again as Samsung A-series lineup already been the best selling smartphone around the world, Samsung A-Series sales really give tough competition to Apple’s iPhone XR as iPhone XR really cost much for around $749 while it features fewer specs in some department as compared with Samsung A-Series lineup. Samsung has already announced the release date of its budget-oriented smartphone Galaxy M30s on Sept. 18 in India.
