Redmi K20 series was a huge triumph for Redmi, the device entered the consumer market in 2019 and since than it was one of the best-selling devices from Xiaomi’s subsidiary brand Redmi, In December 2019 Redmi tossed Redmi K30 and the same device ways rebranded and was launched in India under the hood of POCO named POCO X2.

Now Xiaomi is ready to release the big dog in the battleground of smartphones, the beast is named Redmi K30 Pro. This device is set to launch tomorrow in Mainland China via. Online event. And who knows this could be India’s most anticipated device ‘POCO F2’ as after the overwhelming response received by POCO F1 all the India smartphone consumers were starving to have a get their hands on the inheritor of the legacy crated by POCO F1. Going by the recent trend we can assume that Redmi K30 Pro could become India’s POCO F2 as Redmi K30 was dubbed to become India’s POCO X2 i.e. POCO’s first device as a separate legal entity.
Key specifications of the device is as follows.
It packs a 107.4cm (6.67 inches) Super AMOLED display with 60Hz refresh rate as confirmed by the General Manager of Redmi Lu Weibing via. Chinese micro blogging website ‘Weibo’. The device will support streaming of HDR10+ content with a maximum brightness of 800 nits as advertised by the brand.
It will be powered by latest flagship chipset from Qualcomm viz. Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC that is an octa-core processor following core divisions 1×2.84 GHz Kryo 585 & 3×2.42 GHz Kryo 585 & 4×1.80 GHz Kryo 585. An integrated 5G is also there to make this device 5G ready while the graphic rendering is powered by Adreno 650 GPU.
It will pack four rear cameras inside a circular module with primary camera being 64MP with F1.9 aperture and support of Optical Image Stabilization and Phase Detect Auto Focus along with a 64MP telephoto lens with 3x zoom capability and integrated PDAF. 8MP ultra wide lens with 123o field of view will also be there along with a 2MP depth sensor with F2.4 aperture. It will feature a single rear camera housed under a Pop-Up mechanism.
It will pack a 5000mAh battery and is expected to get along with a fast charger with power raring above 30Watts.
