There’s a lot of buzz around the launch of realme’s first Smart TV that is scheduled for May 25. Launch of realme TV will mark realme’s entry into a whole new segment keeping in mind the fact that Xiaomi is currently the market leader in the Smart TVs segment.
Realme TV is expected to pack some industry-leading specifications so as to keep up the competition game with industry-leader i.e. Xiaomi.
This morning came as a surprise when the landing page for realme TV went live on Flipkart clearing out the fact about selling partner and some major details were also revealed to attract more users and geeks.
Realme TV got some beefy specs on its side, Let’s discuss the specifications that were revealed today.
Realme TV: Real Sound, Real Picture
The very first thing that came to our notice was the tagline for realme TV “Real Sound, Real Picture” it signifies that the prime focus of brands’ first smart TV line-up will be industry-leading picture quality packed with dynamic and buffing sound for an immersive experience.
During a poll on Twitter, participants were asked to share their opinion around the design of the product and almost all the participants chose a bezel-less design over traditional bezel design and hence realme decided to come-up with “Bezel-Less” design
Realme TV will bring a color intensifier feature dupped as “Chroma Boost” that will enhance the color representation and create a more exclusive viewing environment. The display is expected to have a brightness standard of 400 nits, It is advertised that when coupled with Chroma Boost technology this TV will bring out the best from every frame.
In the same Twitter survey, participants were asked to choose between various chipsets including ‘Amlogic’ and ‘MediaTek’ and the crowd went for MediaTek chipset, and hence realme TV packs a MediaTek chipset to handle the performance department and handling the tasks in hand efficiently. The chipset used is based on the 64-bit quad-core architecture that a giant leap given the expected or advertised price segmentations. The chipset packs ARM Cortex-A53 CPU and Mali-470 MP3 GPU to handle all the graphic rendering and processing.
High Wattage speakers were the choice of almost all the participants, therefore realme TV packs 24 Watt Stereo speakers divided across four speakers. It will also pack Dolby Audio Technology to make your binge-watch experience somewhat more immersive.
Realme has announced that it will be revealing more details about the Smartness Department of this Smart TV on 20th May.

- 32” inches priced around Rs.13,000
- 43” inches priced around Rs. 22,000
