As I have tipped in my earlier post that realme will be launching four new products during the launch event scheduled for 25th May and we have already discussed everything about three of them in some earlier postings. Now, we talk about the “One More Surprise” as duped by realme officials.
The last product of the show will be a ‘Power Bank’, the power bank will act as the successor of realme Power Bank (10000mAh) that was launched back in September of 2019. The power bank was an instant hit because of its sleek design, Two-way charging capabilities, and support for charging laptops as well with a maximum output rating of 18W using ‘Type-C’ port.
This power bank was launched at a price of Rs.1,299 with three ravishing color options ‘Red, Yellow, and Grey’ but after some time a new ‘Classic Blue’ color was also added to the roaster. Personally, I am a big admirer of realme Power Bank because of handy form-factor, light-weight body, and amazingly sophisticated body. I own all four of them.
Realme seems to follow the same style philosophy with ‘Realme Power Bank 2’. Going by the teaser image shared by official twitter handles of realme and its official, this new generation of realme Power Bank will change the way we see a power bank. Realme Power Bank 2 will break the orthodox boxy design ideology associated with power banks as it got a really dope design.
Form-Factor and build quality look fairly similar to first-generation power banks. But instead of a textured plastic body, realme Power Bank 2 seems to pack a leather textured design making it a style statement rather than an ordinary power bank.
It will pack the same number of ports as previously seen on first-generation power banks i.e. a full-size USB Type-A port along with a Type-C port with support for fast-charging.
Words on the street pressurize the assumption that realme Power Bank 2 will pack support of ‘Super VOOC’ charging technology. Super VOOC is the charging methodology used by realme to enable fast charging capabilities on a device and currently, realme is the market leader when it comes to charging speed of devices with it’s ‘realme X50 Pro 5G’ that is capable of charging the device within a span of 30 to 35 minutes with a maximum power output of 65W.
Although, the power output of realme power bank 2 is not yet revealed but we assume that it will come with a maximum output rating of 30W. The expected price of realme Power Bank 2 will be around Rs.1,799.
