Realme was teasing the launch of ‘realme TV’ and ‘realme Watch’ for a long time but some rumors spread like fire stating that realme would be launching 2 more products on the same day and these rumors were confirmed when realme official revealed that realme is going to launch another product under true wireless earphones category.
Realme Buds is the moniker for the earphones and hands-free line-up by realme and currently, this product line-up contains four products focused on different consumer spaces. Two of the four audio devices are directed toward audience who loves wired earphones and those two products are duped as ‘realme Buds’ and ‘realme Buds 2’, realme buds is priced at Rs. 499 and is available in one color only while realme Buds 2 will cost you Rs.599 and is available in three colors ‘Black, Orange, and Green’.
The next product in this line-up was ‘realme Buds Wireless’ and the name itself explains a lot. Realme Buds Wireless marked realme’s entry into wireless audio space. Realme Buds Wireless is a ‘Neckband Style’ earphone with an 11.2mm dynamic bass audio driver with audio proficiencies tuned by realme’s Chief Music Officer non-other than Alan Walker himself. This neckband from the house of realme is priced at Rs.1,799 and is a steal deal at this price point. At the time of writing this article, I am using the same neckband in orange color with some 90’s songs playing in loops.
Realme Buds Air was the very first Truly Wireless Earphone from the tech giant. It got some great features like Environmental Noise Cancellation, Touch Controls, Voice Assistant, Great Battery Life, Custom R1 Chip with support for Low latency mode, and support for Wireless Charging.
This device is priced at Rs.3,999 and is available in three colors Black, Yellow and White but the twist here is that ever since its launch in December, ‘Yellow and Black’ colors of realme Buds Air were never made available for public purchase and whenever we asked them for availability, we got the same answer all the times ‘Stick to our social media handles’. Realme Buds Air was a great hit for realme in the audio category and now realme is ready to introduce younger brother of Realme Buds Air.
The new truly wireless earphones form is realme is duped as ‘realme Buds Air Neo’. This product is focused to seduce the younger generation with a slightly tight budget. Buds Air Neo is supposed to pack some similar features previously seen on Realme Buds Air like custom R1 chip with support for low latency gaming mode, similar design profile, touch controls, and instant pairing support as well.
But to grab a cut on pricing realme had to compromise some functionality as well. Realme Buds Air features ‘Type-C’ port for charging while realme Buds Air Neo will have a ‘Micro-USB’ port for charging with no support for wireless charging.
Realme Buds Air Neo got some pluses as well like a 13mm bass boost audio driver rather than 12mm dynamic driver seen on ‘realme Buds Air’. It will pack more than 17 hours of entertainment when coupled with charging case, while you can grab a playback time of more than 3 Hours over earbuds only. It will pack dual-channel transmission and Bluetooth 5.0 technology.
Realme Buds Air Neo will be made available to consumers in three funky colors Red, Green, and good old classic White. Keeping in mind all the available information we expect realme Buds Air Neo to launch around a price of Rs.3,000. The launch is scheduled for tomorrow along with realme TV and realme Watch and one more product. Let’s wait and watch.
