Performance:

According to Huawei, this Mate 9’s multi-core CPU performance will be far better than all other processors, even better than the iPhone 7’s A10 fused Chipset & the Snapdragon 821 which has been embedded in the Pixel XL. The GPU performance of the Mate 9 is also 180% faster than the predecessors  of Mali GPUs.

The new Kirin 960 is also Daydream-ready which will allow it to be used with Google’s latest VR unit. It will also have an onboard machine-learning algorithm that will help analyze the user behavior & in turn optimizing the experience of the user. All this will be made possible through the smart memory & CPU allocation, along with smart storage optimization. The Kirin 960 will be having a 4 GB of RAM as well as 64 GB of storage in the Mate 9 that will be giving the user add-on benefits for entertainment.

With the all new Mate 9 user will have smoother experience almost 20% smoother than the previous series of EMUI as well as 50% enhancement in system responses. The GPU speed will also increase by 20% in the Mate 9 as claimed by the company. According to Huawei – ” The Mate 9 is up to 80% faster than other smartphones after 16 months of usage according to its internal benchmark.”

There are few differences in the limited edition Porsche design of the Huawei Mate 9 & almost the internals are the same. There is 6 GB of RAM & 256 GB of storage without any expansion of storage though microSD card slot in it. This Design also features us a 5.5-inch curved QHD display that is a very first model from Huawei being launched.

Cost & Availability: 

Both the handset models i.e. Huawei Mate 9 & Porsche Design Mate 9 will expectedly be made available by the start of December this year hopefully in Europe & some other selected markets. The variants that will be available are Black, Moonlight silver, Space Grey, Champagne Gold, Ceramic White & Mocha Brown.
