Further Cook stated that company focuses on things that bring hardware, software, and services together. “That’s Our secret sauce. It shows up in a lot of different places, and it’s something that we look for in new employees.”  Cook said.  He mentioned Apple Watch having so many features as a thing where hardware, software, and services all come together.

Without giving specific details, Cook gave some hints about Apple’s future plans – We’ve got a ton of things on our roadmap that I can’t talk about, but that I’m incredibly excited about, that are the result of pulling that string and not being bound by the box that so many people in life get bound by.

However, Cook didn’t post anything about Mac Pro or Mac Mini in his posting. So it will be exciting to wait and see what the Apple has in store for us.

LG Batteries Reportedly Being Considered By Samsung For The Galaxy Note 8: The most talked about a phone from Samsung is nowadays the one & only Galaxy Note 8. According to The Korean Herald, Samsung will be considering for using the LG Chem batteries as a priority other than the existing suppliers for the next year’s Galaxy Note 8. This battery transitioning from LG is also assumed to be a reason as resulted from recent Galaxy Note 7 explosions due to battery issues. However the main reason of its battery failure recently is not very clear yet, but Samsung must be hopingly working on to that one too.

At present, the company gets its batteries from Samsung SDI i.e its own division & a Chinese company ATL too is the mainstream supplier for the batteries to Samsung. Although a very vast section of Galaxy Note 7 units were found to be using its own batteries from SDI unit & Samsung itself found very firstly about the faulty behaviours of them. Then after those batteries were replaced with the ones made from ATL. Although the explosions from Samsung never stopped from the following act also & continued to explode at the same rate. This was a turning point for Samsung which moved down the arrow of disappointment towards the over ambitiously designed & hardware fault from Samsung, creating too much of pressure on the phone, hence making the battery explode.

According to the reports, the idea & requirement of using LG Chem batteries instead of the SDI or ATL batteries is out of some financial reasons or due to company’s expected production scale. Moreover, if the rumors are kept true then sooner a deal may get signed between the two firms. If the reports of The Korean Herald is considered, the LG batteries will be found in Samsung’s devices later in next year’s models. Which shows that the probability of Samsung S8 getting the new batteries is very lower. If the company uses the LG Chem batteries then the latter’s share is expected to increase by 3 percent to around $220 after the deal gets completed.

iPhone 8 May Be Featured With Plastic Curved OLED Display: Many rumors are coming about the upcoming iPhones, among them, one of the most talked is about curved OLED screen. Previously it was rumored that Apple will use a glass OLED display but after considering a new report it is suggested that Apple will introduce plastic OLED display. It is suggested from the report of Korea Herald, that the new display of upcoming iPhones will have plastic OLED panel, built by Samsung, that curves ‘all over’.   

Curved OLED Plastic Display May Be The Next Attraction Of iPhone 8:

Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge support curved display generally have plastic OLED panel and glass OLEDs are generally used on flat display like as on iPhone 7.

According to a source familiar with the matter told the Korea Herald-

“The OLED version of the new iPhone will all be curved as Apple ordered all plastic OLED — not glass — from Samsung Display. Samsung is capable of supplying a little less than 100 million units of curved OLED displays to Apple,”

On the present iPhone and Apple watches curved glasses are used at the edges, so it is difficult to say why apple is going to use Plastic OLED display with upcoming phones. For the OLED Panel, Apple is completely dependent on Samsung which is also the main rival of the company. Further Hearld’s report suggested that the new iPhones may use new sensing technology which makes the device able to respond by touching any side of the device.

Korea Herald report also suggested that Apple will make three new phones in next years – one device which will feature OLED and two resembling with present iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 plus which may become in the form of iPhone 7s and 7s Plus.

Now the question will be raised that whether the plastic OLED panel would be felt by the users of the Phone or it will be glass layer on the plastic part on the iPhone 8. However, Apple is using Gorilla glasses on its phone at this time.

iPhone 8 will be the flagship model with OLED display and iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus will be revised and will come as iPhone 7s and 7s Plus have flat  LCD display panel said by Herald’s report.  As said before by KGI that iPhone 8 will have wireless charging, the additional charger may be available on purchase. To make the bezel-less display of the iPhone 8 Touch ID home button will also be integrated into the display.
