With the addition of new features such as Game Mode, Edge improvement and expanding of Cortana’s function it also removes some of the features that were significant to them.

• In TLS, Next Protocol Negotiation Support is no longer available. To replace it Application Protocol Level Navigation (APLN) is available.

• Microsoft also updates the Windows mobile which is a good step so both mobile and PC versions of Windows now move to the Unified Update Server Platform (UUP).

Features that are Deprecated from the windows 10 creators update:

• Reading list- it is a feature which allows you to save articles for later, offline reading. You can replace this feature with any other third party services.

• Apps corner – it is a part of Windows mobile user’s arsenal, by using this feature you can enable start screens to be set for guest users and you can restrict guest access only to certain apps.

•  COSA database replaced the App database.xml. As per the report of BetaNews, “some constructs such as Hardware ID, incoming SMS rules in mobile apps, auto connect order, APN parser, and CDMA provider ID will going to be removed and no longer be available in function”.

• Tile Data Layer which records the default apps, programs, and tile for start menu.

• TCP Chimney which is used to transfer the worked from the CPU to a network during network data transfer.

• IPsec task offload which is a CPU saver and pushed certain resources heavy work to the network adapter.

We can say here that some features that are removed could prove good as in some of them a superior service is available to replace that and some are like that it was not used widely.  There is nothing to disappoint as Microsoft surely will provide a better update to all the features.

Microsoft Has Released Its new Insider Built 15051 Preview: Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 15051 for only mobiles has released. Five days ago, the issues in Insider Build 15047 offering Fast Ring Insider was fixed. At this time Microsoft is focusing on to fix issues rather than including new features. So we are not going to see any changes in it and not any new features are added.

Some changes and fixes for mobiles by Microsoft:

• In some inbox apps, such as Calculator, Outlook, Mail, Outlook Calendar, hard is also fixed has been done to resolve the issues that arose in them.

• In Groove Music, if the app becomes suspend during the call then it was facing the problem of not resuming the playback after the call end. This issue is also fixed.

• It was seen in some cases that after upgrading the insiders full QWERTY keyboard was seeing on the lock screen instead of the pin pad. This issue is also fixed now.

• In messaging, When larger photos are attached to message then messaging stop working. This problem is resolved by the Microsoft now you can share your pictures over messaging without any problem.

• The issue of impacting certain UWP apps using pivots, such as the News app, where the pivot control could end up becoming offset after quickly swiping through the pivots also fix.

• An issue where asking Cortana to read a text message over Bluetooth with many backs to back emoji would result in high-pitched distorted noise now fixed by the company.

• We have discovered a bug that causes background tasks to not run in the background like they should such as OneDrive’s camera roll sync feature. Please, double check your photos have synced to OneDrive on the latest builds. We’ve got a fix for this issue coming in an upcoming build where background tasks will run again and your camera roll will sync to OneDrive as expected.

• If your device experiences an unexpected reboot, in some cases you may lose your call, text, and email history may be lost. We’re actively investigating this issue. If you believe you’ve hit this, please up-vote this feedback item In Feedback Hub.

• Speech packs may be unable to download on this build.

• ADDED: Some users are reporting that pages are constantly reloading or refreshing, especially while they are in the middle of scrolling them in Microsoft Edge. We’re investigating.

With Update 4.50 PS4’s Too Small HDD Problem Resolved Today: Today the update 4.50 has begun to rollout for the PlayStation 4 (PS4) in the Europe & North America. Although the HDD was recognized to be having a serious problem since the day the console was launched, the PS4’s 500 Gigabyte HDD became a major concern.

The users of the PS4 even had to delete the partially finished games for making some space for the new ones. However, the only solution to this problem was to install a bigger driver thus increasing the storage space taking the system apart. Another and only solution left was to replace the PS4 with the PS4 Pro which provides a 1TB of storage option.

Here is the list of the beneficial improvements that will be coming up with this update 4.50 to the users of the PS4:

• During the game going on you can take screenshots which later on can be set as your custom wallpaper. The system will suggest complementary colors go along with the screenshot you choose from.

Although with this update 4.50 this problem will be resolved as you will be able to connect an additional external HDD of up to 8TB through USB 3.0 to the PS4. The games will be downloaded, installed & ready to be played from the external drive, appearing in the content Launcher on the PS4 Home Screen. All the saved game files too will be stored onto the consoles internal drive. This update also includes enhancements to SHAREfactory,  the notification App & much more.

New Solid-State Battery Introduce In Place Of Conventional Lithium-Ion Battery To Recharge Fast: A new battery technology has been developed by the team from the University of Texas that claims it would charge the battery within minutes. John Goodenough, 94-year-old who is known as the creator of the original lithium-ion battery, will lead the team to invent new “all solid-state” lithium-ion battery which will have three times more energy than the lithium-ion battery.

The new battery will have glass electrolyte replacing the old liquid electrolyte solution. The gap between positive and negative plates is connected by “metal whiskers” but if glass electrolyte solution will be used then these “metal whiskers” will no longer present in the battery. “Metal whiskers” are sometimes caused the explosion in the battery. So if the “metal whiskers” will be removed then there would be no explosion in the batteries and our phones will become safe for us. Goodenough and his team are also using fiberglass sheets as the electrolyte matrix.

Next Gen. Super Charging Battery Technology

In the new battery, lithium-ion will also be replaced by sodium ion and it would be beneficial for the company and less costly too as sodium can be easily extracted from seawater than lithium. So we can say, the new “solid-state” lithium-ion batteries will charge quickly, they would be safer and more powerful.

A paper describing the new battery is published in the Journal Energy and Environmental Science. The report says that battery is in early stages of development. Different tests have also done on the battery suggested that energy density in the solid-state battery is about three times than Li-ion batteries that are in use nowadays. the cells of the battery could be run down more than 1,200 cycles with low cell resistance on a single charge. Apart from this, the cells will also run at low temperature.

The thing to see is when the solid-state battery will actually be use in devices and have practical application in future devices. If the new battery will come into the practical application then many issues facing by lithium-ions will be resolve and our device will become safer and powerful with no explosions in the device.

Rise In Use Of Apple Product: Suggested By Survey Conducted By Jamf: Annual survey report of Jamf has out highlighted the rise in using the Apple Products in business, education, and in IT professionals. The makers of Apple device management software Jamf released its Annual Jamf survey which provides the use of Apple Product in the enterprises, use of Apple products is an increase in the enterprises. Both Mac and iOS has shown the rise in their use.

Data suggests ninety-one percent of business use Mac while ninety-nine percent use iPhone or iPad. The reason for an increase in the adoption of Apple devices in the enterprises is the use of Mac is comparatively easier than PC in deployment, security, device configuration, software and app development and support and same is the reason for iOS than other mobile devices.

These data were prepared on the basis of the survey done on 300 IT professionals, managers and executives from the commercial organization of 50 to 10,000+ employees all over the world done in January 2017. Mac adoption increases to 74% while in iPhone 76% rise has seen in 2016 compared to previous years.

Apart from business, the demand for Apple devices is also in education. To improve the quality of education over 70% OF K12 schools use Mac and about 90% are using iPad. In higher education also use of Mac and iOS also rise with the use of 80% Mac and 94% iOS. The reason for adopting Mac and iOS in education was also found that it was easy to manage and use.

From the survey, 62% users said Mac is easier to use than PC and 93% said iPhone and iPad are easier than other phones. The user-friendly interface provided by Apple is also very successful as the users solve the problem in their device on their own which make lesser them dependent on other support and if the problem in the device rises, Apple provides world-class support and solve the issues.

The report also highlighted the IBM’s achievement on making Mac. About 90,000 employees are using Mac which makes the IBM to reached its goal of deploying 100,000 Mac. IBM stated that they are saving about $265 per Mac than windows.
