The production of the A11 chip will begin in April 2017 by TSMC. The company will manufacture about 50 million units of the chip which has the target to complete before July 2017 and before the end of the year, 100 million units of the A11 chip will be manufactured. TSMC will be the sole supplier of the A11 chip. The A10 SoC was also exclusively manufactured by the TSMC.

The report also suggested that the A11 chips are built by the coming by using 10nm FinFET process packing with a ‘wafer-level integrated fan out’ technology. However, it is not disclosed that whether A11 chip will be another fusion design or not.
