Apple is not new to 4K business as their other products like Macs which is already using 5K from years but Apple TV still lacks this feature. The HomePod software also leaked that iPhone 8 would support 4K on both front and rear cameras so you’ll be able to put those 4K selfies right onto your TV.

Apple Is Introducing “SmartCam” Feature In iPhone 8 Camera: From the code of Apple’s HomePod software, various hints about the features of iPhone 8 has been discovered by the developers in past few days back. One of the new report related to the camera of the upcoming iPhone 8 has been revealed which is suggesting some interesting features in the upcoming iPhone 8. Developer Guilherme Rambo discovered new codes from the HomePod software that suggests a new “SmartCam feature” in iPhone 8.

According to Guilherme Rambo, the SmartCam that may be present in new camera app will take best pictures and adjust the settings of the Camera differently and this will depend upon the scenes that would be present like for sunrise, it will have different settings while for firework setting will adjust according to that.

Different scenes like Baby, Bright stage, Foliage, etc. have been mentioned in the SmartCam as an option. It means that the objects that will be seen in the scenes will get the best-suited capture settings automatically by the software of iPhone camera, and it is assumed that all this will be achieved by Apple’s dedicated “Neural Engine” processor.

Apart from the SmartCam feature, another code which is discovered in the HomePod software is the use of “facial recognition” feature to authenticate Apple Pay instead of Touch ID in the upcoming iPhone 8. The presence of facial recognition to unlocking the iPhone and authenticate Apple Pay was also supported by the reports of KGI and Bloomberg.

Now the code discovered by developers such as ‘passbook.payment.contactlessinterface’ with ‘pearl.field-detect’ and ‘pearl.pre-arm’ indicates the presence of Face ID which might replace the touch ID feature which is currently present in the iPhones for such purposes.

In the HomePod Code, inductive charging feature to support wireless charging is also mentioned. Wireless charging feature is expecting to be present in iPhone 8 which is going to be release soon this year with 5.8-inch almost bezel-less OLED display. Other code reveals the ability to ‘tap to wake’ the display, that may become the part of upcoming iPhone 8.

Fitness giants Fitbit has recently announced their next venture on smart watches, as according to CEO James Park, the company hopes to release the accessory “ahead of the holiday season.” As this announcement is made on company Q2 2017 earnings event. Fitness market has become tougher than ever as companies like Apple are already ruling this marker by Apple Watch and Android Manufacturers also made some remarkable smartwatches to the market so companies like Fitbit has tough competition. Many other brands have already exited fitness band segment but companies like Fitbit and Garmin are still present.

Fitbit Plans To Introduce New Smartwatch 

Park doesn’t tell us about the device or details regarding its new smartwatch, though Park did talk a big game. He believes that Smartwatch will deliver the best health and fitness experience in the category. Fitbit believes that their smartwatch game will help the company to stand up in next half of the year.

There should be some compelling feature in upcoming Fitbit smartwatch as many brands already tried to make different style smart watches but none of them got success like Apple or Android, as companies have their own interface and smartphone which made interaction between smartwatch and smartphone seamless but smartwatch from Fitbit may lack this feature but Fitbit may go for Android interface in their upcoming fitness smartwatch which could help Fitbit to achieve more than expectation.

As we talk about Fitbit profit this year they have sold over 3.4 million devices in the second quarter, up 14 percent sequentially for $353 million in revenue despite this company failed to earn the profit as they reported a net loss of $58.2 million.

Fitbit next step is one and only savior for the company so they could earn the profit in the next quarter or they’ll lose their company. Windows 10 Build 16257 & Mobile Build 15237 Now  Available For Windows Insiders

In their fast ring on the PC as well as Mobile Microsoft has rolled out another brand new Preview builds for the Insiders that include a number of newer bug fixes & enhancements & also some exciting new features. Let’s go through the list one by one:

Windows 10 PC Build 16257:

• Eye Control (beta): A Compatible Eye Tracker is needed indeed in order to have an Experience with Eye Control, it may be the Tobii Eye Tracker 4C,  which will unlock the access to the OS for performing tasks that were earlier done while using mouse & keyboard.
• Eye Control Launchpad: Just after turning on the Eye Control, the launch pad will be appearing on the screen thus allowing the access to use the mouse, keyboard, text to speech & also the positioning of UI to the opposite side of the screen.

• Eye Control Keyboard: If you want to use the keyboard, just select the keyboard from the launch pad & dwell at the characters that you will to type. You can type numbers and symbols on the &123 page and function keys on the Fn page as at present only the EN-US keyboard layout is supported.
• Eye Control Settings: You can access the settings from the Fn keyboard page in order to adjust the dwell times, turn on/off shape-writing, and turn on/off the gaze cursor used to test hardware calibration.

• Eye Control Text-To-Speech: For using this function to communicate with any near & dear ones in person just select text to speech from launchpad. Now you can use the keyboard to type & have it spoken aloud. Alongside at the top, there are phrases that are spoken aloud immediately which can be customized to say different words. Default text to speech voices is used which can be later changed in the settings section.
• Eye Control Shape Writing: Now you will also be able to shape write, the faster type with your Eyes through the Eye Control Keyboard. To use it just turn it on from the keyboard settings & to start writing just dwell at the first & last characters of the word while glancing at the letters in between. Word predicted will be appearing at the last key of the word, if found appropriate go for it otherwise select an alternative.

• An issue where if you had two unrelated tabs in Microsoft Edge & in an opened link from the first in a new tab, the newer tab would appear to the right of the second tab rather than the first, has been fixed now.
• The design of the address bar has been improved & adjusted as per the feedbacks that were received. Now even if the address bar isn’t in focus to start with when you click and drag the text it will remain under the cursor. Earlier the text would shift as the “http://” appeared – this change will make it easier to quickly edit parts of the URL in future.
• Microsoft Edge is now getting a refreshed & modernized look in the browser frame that will be inspired by Fluent Design System. As while using the Acrylic material, it provides depth and transparency to the tab bar and other controls, and also the improvements in button animations have been done to feel more responsive and delightful experiences.”
• An issue has been fixed where right-clicking on an image in Microsoft Edge and selecting copy then later pasting the clipboard content would result in the image URL being pasted rather than the image itself.
• An issue where if a tab had been opened while Microsoft Edge was in full-screen mode, using Ctrl + W to close that tab while still in full-screen mode would close the content but leave the tab in the frame, has been fixed now.

Windows 10 Mobile Build 15237:

• Fixed an issue with the occasionally screen flashing back just after launching or rotating the Camera app.
• Some valuable improvements to the Field Medic Store App have been done, thus fixing an issue while collecting Watson crash data, enabled spell checking while editing a report. Additionally, an update for Power On & Off profiles for including battery information has been done.
• An issue regarding the behavior of the Hardware search button in some countries where Cortana is not available has been fixed by providing the search app or URL through OEM.

• An issue listed for HP Elite X3 that reported SD card removal from the device when it had not, has been fixed now.
• Cortana resume from suspension behavior to enable a Cortana skill to be authenticated before the user interacts with the skill has been improved.
• Fixed an issue with the Windows inbox NFC driver where occasionally the wrong card type data was reported.
• The issue with the Continuum, after unplugging of the attached monitor, sometimes the mobile LCD doesn’t power off & mobile battery drained off, the issue has been fixed now.

Microsoft Reportedly Working Onto An Eye Tracking Technology For Windows 10: Although there are much more news & takings that are under fire for Microsoft regarding the Windows Phone in the mean time we have brought to you some really interesting report from Microsoft. According to it currently, the brand is working to build an Eye tracking device to record another remarkable achievement in the accessibility features thus adding on to the Windows 10 using devices. At present, it is being called an Eye control & according to Microsoft, the feature is already under testing phase & available for the Windows Insiders.

And that was taken as an inspiration by Microsoft to adopt the Eye Tracking Technology with Windows 10 as an accessibility feature in future.

You will not have to wait for much time to try the amazing new feature being build up at Microsoft if you are a Windows Insider. The feature can be tested with the latest Insider builds available, provided that the user must have an access to the Tobii Eye Tracker 4C. Most respectfully the feature will be launching & will be made available with the Fall Creators Update as a Public beta update. Although the Fall Creators update will also bring with it numerous other accessibility improved features like the narrator & reading-writing assisting tools, but the Eye Tracking Tech will be an interesting one to have an Eye on.

LG Will Be The Next To Supply OLED Panels For iPhones: After having several reports on the supply of OLED panels for the iPhones in future, Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI Securities has confirmed that the OLED panels for the iPhones will supply by LG to the Apple. At this time Samsung is the sole supplier of the OLED panels for the upcoming iPhone 8, but in future Apple would be use OLED panel for all the iPhone models so the demand of OLED panel will increase and hence it will be necessary for the Apple to look at another source to have the sufficient supply of OLED panels and now this need of the OLED panels will be fulfilled by LG as said by Ming-Chi Kuo.

Huge Investment Of Apple In LG For OLED Panels

As per some other reports in past few days, there are chances that Apple will receive 45,000 OLED panels for the iPhones per month from LG in 2019. For the OLED panels of upcoming iPhones, Apple has already invested $2.7 billion in LG as advance payment. After the Samsung, now the partnership between Apple and LG has provided secondary supplier to the Apple for the OLED panels.

Kuo has further said that the shipment yield rate of OLED panels will also increase the collaboration of LG with other suppliers and it is also possible that LG will collaborate with GIS to have better lamination experience with MegaSite and integration with Foxconn manufacturing facilities.

The collaboration of Apple with LG is the smart move for the tech giant to ensure the smooth supply of the component for the iPhones in 2019 as it is rumored that Apple will only use OLED display for all iPhone models by 2019. This year Apple is going to release iPhone 8 having OLED display for the first time, however, iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s plus will have LCD display.
