While the form factor and edge to edge display of the device will attract more people who like to use small form factor devices as iPhone X which has perfect size as compared to other full display smartphones that have launched earlier this year.

KGI Securities has released its 2018 iPhone product mix forecast, and in this, its reliable analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has predicted two new iPhone form factors coming next year. Apple is trying to capture the whole market of form factors device, Apple has released three model of different form factor which helps to attract more consumer who preferred different form factors. In addition to iPhone X display size, 5.8-inch OLED model KGI expects that Apple will introduce 6.5-inch OLED model (Plus-sized iPhone X) in addition to a new 6.1-inch LCD model. All three models will feature the current full-screen design and include the TrueDepth Camera system.

iPhone X demand is showing off the charts as 120 million units are expected to ship in the second half of next year, KGI describes next year’s lineup at the real super-cycle for iPhone sales.

Currently iPhone X is priced at $999 and this is new iPhone with all the fancy new feature but Apple has to bring iPhone X experience to available widely as KGI predicts the 6.1-inch LCD will start between $649 and $749 to address the low-end to midrange markets thanks to a lower resolution display and cheaper build materials.

Apple current lineup includes 4-inch iPhone SE, 4.7-inch iPhone 8, 5.5-inch iPhone 8 Plus and 5.8-inch iPhone X. Three iPhone feature same old LCD technology from iPhone 5 and later display size may vary while new true tone display and wide color gamut display is better than previous iPhone display. While some new features like the True-Tone Camera system, FaceID, Animoji, Dual OIS back camera as obsolete from all these iPhone except ‘X’.

KGI also predicted last year that Apple may bring FaceID to all their model replacing TouchID but that won’t happen., but this time we may see that Apple may bring all these cool features to the world.

6.5-inch OLED iPhone & 6.1-inch LCD iPhone May Launch In 2018: Latest news related to the future’s iPhone models is given by KGI securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo in which he said about the body designs and some features that may present in upcoming iPhone models in 2018. Ming-Chi Kuo has predicted that Apple may release two new iPhone for next year.

Two New iPhone Models For Next Year

Kuo is highly expecting that Apple may introduce new display size in next year’s iPhone. This year Apple has released iPhone X with 5.8-inch OLED display, now we may see 6.5-inch OLED display in iPhone of next year and new 6.1-inch LCD screen model as expected by Kuo.

Apple is planning to make all iPhone models with an edge-to-edge display by 2018 as suggested by some previous reports, Kuo also suggests that these two new iPhone models will have the almost bezel-less display and TrueDepth camera system will also integrate into upcoming iPhone models by next year.

Kuo has also predicted the price of iPhone models that may introduce next year. according to Kuo, the 6.1-inch iPhone will start between $649 and $749 to make it available at a mid-range price for the customers and all this will go to possible due to the low-cost materials that will use for making the device and low-resolution display will also help to achieve this.

The starting price of latest iPhone X which has released this year is $999 with many new features that were introduced in iPhone for the very first time. with iPhone X, this year Apple has released two another model of iPhone including the 4.7-inch iPhone 8 and 5.5-inch iPhone 8 Plus with the LCD screen. the Features like TrueDepth, Face ID, Animoji, and Portrait mode selfies are added into the iPhone X only but from the next year, all these features will become part of all the new iPhone models. The new models may also have FaceID recognition feature as Apple will drop the TouchID.

iPhone X Demand Will Be More Strong In 2018 : Kuo

Apple iPhone X has been shown the off the chart success as this phone not just build by Apple but the features which Apple included in this device is far ahead than any other smartphone in industry. Apple is still facing demand issue regarding iPhone X as due to the earlier slow processing of the device but now shipment time of the device is not improved and Apple is way ahead for the holiday time. KGI analyst notes that iPhone X demand will touch new height through the 2017 holiday quarter.

Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo also notes negative impact the iPhone X will have on demand for the iPhone 8, which he anticipates will sell worse than originally expected. Kuo explains that iPhone X production will hit between 25 million and 27 million units during the holiday quarter, with sell-through between 22 million and 24 million.

During the holiday season, everyone is expecting to have gifts like this product and recent demand shows that people have to wait for next year to buy the iPhone X. Moving ahead to the first quarter of 2018, Kuo expects production to grow 35-45 percent quarter on quarter. The analyst sees the strong iPhone X demand continuing into 2018 based on a couple of things.

People are liking iPhone X once they hold the device in their hands as the problem like no TouchID, Home Button and Notch don’t concern too many people which earlier expected bad aspect of the design of iPhone X.Furthermore, Kuo sees demand during the Chinese New Year is “robust.”

While iPhone 8 which arrives one month earlier will face the decline in production for about 50 to 60 percent as people are losing attention to any other iPhone rather than iPhone X. Kuo anticipated that production will decline in Q1 2018 to the holiday quarter. While bigger model iPhone 8 Plus is selling much better than expected as Apple strategy to bring the more superior feature to costly feature help iPhone 8 Plus to have more demand than iPhone 8.

According to some analyst, this holiday quarter will make Apple first company touch trillion dollar mark in the history as this anticipating holiday shopping quarter Apple may gross around $84 and $87 billion. While the question is still arising that, Is iPhone X production will be able to keep up with demand through the holiday quarter and into 201?

Intel’s First Optane Series For The Desktop Is Released

Intel’s First Optane Series For The Desktop Is Released: Intel’s first Optane SSD (Solid State Drive) has been released that will be incorporated into Optane DRAM technology. For the gamers and PC lovers, it will be exciting to have this feature on their PCs and laptops as the Optane SSD 900p series is basically meant for gaming machines and workstations in high-end laptops. Intel’s Optane technology is also the memory pool for the computer by increasing the memory in case of need up to a TB from 32 GB, so the Optane will also help to make the machine’s memory pool faster than before.

The Optane SSD 900p Series will be available in 280GB and 480GB in U.2 and HHHL (Half-height half-length) form factor but the U.2 drive at this time will be available only at 280GB capacity. The fast speed of the new Optane SSD is claimed to be 7 times faster than competing NVMe SSDs having up to 2500MB/s reading speed and up to 2000MB/s writing speed. Intel’s Optane SSD will provide faster load times and smooth gaming experience to the users. It is also obvious that this much speed is fascinating for the PC gamers.

It is also important to consider that with the increasing speed to that much extent will definitely affect the battery life of the laptop as this much speed will drain the battery and will result in loss of battery in very short time. Apart from this, it is also coming with only five years of guarantee, which seems less in comparison with other SSDs that are providing almost double than this.

Talking about the price of the Optane 900p SSD series, it will cost you higher than the existing competitors. The 280GB drive will be available at $389 while the 480GB will be at $599.

New Way To Unlock Your Device With PalmID

PalmID Future Of Unlocking
PalmID Future Of Unlocking

The biometric device now becomes necessary for our usage as we keep many of our private and secret data inside our phone that’s why companies tried to bring various ways to unlock your device. Your smartphone has become your daily companion you use it every little while, so it should need to be secure, while the phone you are using many has biometric lock system like Fingerprint sensor, Face Scanner, Iris Scanner and much more. But companies require touching less.

Some future innovation in Biometric includes Samsung’s Iris Scanning which unlocks your phone with scanning to your face and most revolutionary Apple’s FaceID which changes the course of the Biometric system. Redrock Biometrics, a startup based in San Francisco, has a solution that involves “reading” your palm using just about any camera.

New PalmID Technology
New PalmID Technology

This technology is called as PalmID, which justifies itself as it utilizes the palm of your hand as secure “key” to authenticate into a variety of services, online and offline. “You can think about the palm as a very large fingerprint,” said Lenny Kontsevich, Redrock’s chairman. “It has a rich structure and can be captured by any camera touchless.”

According to the company, your palm has more security, and it can be able to scan by just waving your hand in front of the sensor or camera of the device. The company also claim that authentication technology is more secure and more practical, compared to other Biometric which are present right now.

PalmID uses RGB or infrared camera with a resolution of 0.3MP or above and authenticates the user in under 100 milliseconds, according to the speed of the processing. This technology uses a machine vision techniques, it converts the palm image to a unique signature that Redrock says is impossible to fake.

PalmID may be the future for upcoming devices like AR and VR devices which uses the camera on the device rather than any other Biometric like TouchID or FaceID which makes unlocking things more difficult. This technology could benefit other services like ATMs, desktop, and another device to have most secure and hassle-free payment system. This feature could benefit multiple platforms like Windows, Mac, iOS Android and Linux.

Dirty hands, scars, or insufficient illumination will not prevent the correct identification of your palm, according to Redrock. Just show your palm to the camera from a distance of six inches or more and, in a fraction of a second, you will sign in, authorize a virtual payment, or verify your identity at the bank. This system will solve any problem related to securing upcoming future devices which we will see soon. Until then goodbye and have the nice day.
