Samsung is going to reveal its three new projects at CES this year, these new projects are made under C-Lab (Creative Lab ) program that was initiated by Samsung, five years ago in order to make innovative tech products for the consumers.

Starting with the first product that is a result of C-Lab program is the S-Ray (Sound Ray) after it the second is GoBreath and the last third product is based on Smart glasses-Relumino. Samsung has already made it clear that it will introduce all these three new tech products at CES 2018. Details about these products are as described below:

3 New Samsung Project: S-Ray Project, GoBreath & Relumino Smart Glasses

1. The S-Ray Project

It consists of three directional speakers. These include – a Mini speaker, a handy speaker, and the neck Bend speaker. These three speakers are portable as well so that the users will be able to carry it along themselves where they go without any hassle of using earphones. Among the three portable speakers, the Neck Bend speaker is coming with the unusual body design which is giving it seemingly great look.

2. GoBreath

It is a healthcare product meant for breathing exercise made under Samsung’s C-Lab project. This project has a handheld device and a mobile app by using that lung damage patients can learn deep breathing and can also track their progress as well.

3. Relumino Smart Glasses

The last one is the Relumino Smart Glasses that have designed by Samsung’s C-Lab for the visually challenged so that they can see images very clearly while reading or viewing an object. These smart glasses are designed to provide better visual experience. It is based on technology which works by capturing images from these glasses and then passed by the smartphones that give a better view to the users.

While giving a refreshment to the ThinkPad X, ThinkPad T & ThinkPad L series just ahead of the CES 2018 that is about to start soon in the Las Vegas, Lenovo has already shown its intend that will be there for display during this season of events. While optimizing their configurations, the new ThinkPad Laptops now feature an 8th generation Intel Core processor & while making them more thinner & lighter than ever, as the company claims. These Lenovo ThinkPads will now be equipped with much broader support for Facial recognition that will include the very known “Windows Hello” & the “ThinkShutter” webcam feature over the traditional security apps.

The Lenovo ThinkPad Series Gets A Boom, Just Ahead Of CES 2018

The refreshed ThinkPad list starts with the very popular “ThinkPad L” series, that will be sporting the a new Lenovo Yoga design around a 13 inches of display. This time the company has kept most of the user demands on priority & that is the result they have introduced another mechanical side docking option in order to compensate the Ubiquitous compatibility. It will be having an USB Type-C port for powering up the device with a Key-lock security system as a add-on.

The “ThinkPad X380 Yoga”  has also been tested for “Mil-Spec” in order to set the perfect durability in case of any near misses. If we go for comparing the battery life of both the devices, the “ThinkPad X280″ offers up to 16.6 hours and the “X380 Yoga” offers up to 13.6 hours of battery life.

Additionally, the ThinkPad L580 will be sporting 13 inches of optional multi-touch displays with an additional new discrete AMD graphics. And according to the company, its “ThinkPad T580″ will feature an infrared camera, a fingerprint sensor along with the “ThinkShutter” camera privacy. The company also claims it to be the lightest business laptop in its category, weighing only about 2.9 pounds.

Talking about the prices & availability of these newly refreshed ThinkPads, In the lower range the “ThinkPad L380 Yoga” will cost about $549 & “L380” for $449, going further to the medium range comes the “ThinkPad L480” that will be available for a price of $779 & the “L580” for $769. Now while going further the top range, the “ThinkPad X280” will go up for sale from $999 while the “ThinkPad X380 Yoga” will cost about $1,459. Whereas the Price for the “ThinkPad T480” will start from $989 & the “T480s” will come for a starting price of $1,269 that will be higher than the set price of $1,079 for the “T580”. Most of these devices are expected to go on sale, right from the start of next month, some sooner & some later. We all will have to wait for the CES 2018 by that time in order to have more clearer picture of these devices from Lenovo.

According to a new report from Technology analysts TrendForce, there will be a significant increase in the sale of Apple’s iPhone in this year while the smartphones of Samsung may see declining sale. In last year, the production of smartphones was increased by 6.5 percent and it goes to 1.46B units. The report also has shown that the production of iPhone was also increased by 3 percent in 2017 as compared to the production in 2016.

TrendForce predicts that the production of iPhone will increase by 7.5 percent this year in order to maintain the smooth supply of the devices to fulfill the demand of the smartphones, that will include the production of Apple’s latest iPhone X and new iPhone SE for mid-range buyers.

TrendForce also predicts that the Apple will produce the new iPhone models with improving FaceID, screen to body ratio. The new iPhone models may also come with more memory content and embedded AMOLED display in upcoming models. Apple will also release the Second generation of iPhone SE this year in the mid-range market.

If we talk about the Samsung smartphone, the report says that the sale was increased by 3 percent in 2017, but the report also indicates that there will be fall in sale in this year.

“As the industry leader, Samsung will remain the top for smartphone production in 2018 but will witness a 3% drop in production volume because of great challenges and fierce competition brought by its rivals, including Apple in the high-end market and a number of Chinese brands with Android OS” – TrendForce.

TrendForce is also suggesting that the iPhone will be the only device in 2018 that would have advanced face recognition feature to unlock the device, to make payments and to purchase the apps but other smartphones will come with fingerprint recognition technology for the same. Well, it will be interesting to see to which extent this report will be going to prove true.
