Apple Affordable iPad Launched For Education Focused Motive: Apple has released its new affordable 9.7-inch iPad model on Tuesday at its event at Chicago’s Lane Tech College Prep High School. The newly launched iPad supports Apple Pencil and it also supports all the new versions of Apple word processing, spreadsheet and presentation apps. As already supposed that this event – hosted by Apple would mainly be focused on Education will surely provide benefits to the students at the comparatively low price. The newly launched iPad was the main center of attraction at the event.

This iPad is coming with most of the Apple’s best features including Retina display, Apple pencil support, A10 fusion chip, it supports TouchID, have the 8-megapixel camera and many more features at the very affordable price. Newly launched iPad have apps such as Boulevard AR’s app which helps students to see a museum virtually so that they can look at the artwork and another app name as WWF app that makes them have look on wildlife for their studies and projects. However, by using the app named as Froggipedia, students will be able to dissect virtual frog by using the Apple Pencil. All these apps will be the helping tool for the students.

For the students, Apple has provided up to 200GB free iCLoud storage and it supports 10 hours of battery life. Near about 200,000 apps has been made for education to help the students.
At the event hosted by Apple, Apple’s CEO Tim Cook shared some of his view on Apple’s inspiration from the students that may bring changes in technologies.

The new iPad is available to order and Apple will start the shipping of the orders from this week. The iPad will be available at cost $299 exclusively for schools while other consumers can have this it cost $329.

All About Apple’s March Event: Devices That May Announce At Event: Apple has invited the media to its event that is going to be held on March 27 this year in Chicago. The Apple is planning some education-related announcements for the teachers and students in Keynote. 9.7-inch iPad for $259

According to reports from DigiTimes and Economic Daily Apple is planning to launch a 9.7-inch iPad at a considerably lower price (at just $259) as compared to the currently available 9.7-inch iPad which comes at a price of $329.

MacBook Air for $799 to $899

Another thing in the Apple’s pipeline is the MacBook Air which is rumored to come in the second quarter of 2018, said by KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. Again this product will also be supposed to come at a low price range. WitsView researcher Yubin Qiu givens the price range for MacBook Air in between $799-$899 that is fairly low to currently available MacBook Air that costs around $999.

AirPower charging mat

Reports claiming that Apple may release AirPower Charging Mat is on high for past few months. The Charging mat will able to charge more than one Apple device at once including the AirPods that need to be placed in an optional charging case. Nokia 8110 or Banana Phone is the best phone in the last decade as this phone also features in Sci-Fi movie Matrix. Nokia finally gets into the lowest budget smartphone market as markets like India where people still not able basic level of smartphone Nokia this step may encourage more buyers to go for it. The device is powered by Android Oreo (Go Edition) as this another approach for Android to target low budget market but we have to wait to see what Android come up with.

Sony being a brand has been the first choice for several user’s past few years and yet it is again putting some effort into its smartphone lineup. The company as always on the very first day of MWC 2018 event unveiled the XZ2 & XZ2 compact smartphone models. These devices have been powered-up by the all-new Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 processor i.e also expected to come inside several other upcoming flagship devices later. The XZ2 is featuring a 5.7 inches of display while as a trend its compact model has 5.0 inches of display, from which users can opt according to their suitabilities.

Considering the overall design of the newly unveiled smartphones, the company refers it as “Ambient Flow” & that too seems to prove while looking it from the back. As it has some nicely sloped aluminum rails on each side. Talking about the XZ2, it features a 5.7 inches FHD display having an aspect ratio of 2:1 & 2160 x 1080 pixels of resolution that also supports HDR and the company also says that it automatically up-converts SDR content to look more colorful and vibrant at the same time. As compared to its predecessor, the top & bottom bezels have been minimized significantly & been provided a support for wireless charging too in the XZ2 model.

The Xperia XZ2 Smartphone Devices Are Here At MWC 2018: Come Get Some Hands On

A dedicated camera shutter button is also there which helps the 19 MP sensor inside the device to capture great resolution pictures. While shooting a 4K video, the camera is now also capable of capturing HDR color, and the ultra slo-mo mode can even record 960fps footage at a higher 1080p resolutions. The XZ2 is powered up by Snapdragon 845 processor with 4 GB RAM & 64 GB storage facility that can be extended through microSD card slot. Another unique feature of Sony XZ2 is the new Dynamic Vibration System that makes the phone rumble along with media (movies, music, trailers, etc.) and games. Sony’s tagline for the feature is that it helps you “feel your media.”

The XZ2 compact features a 5 inches of display & includes the same processor & camera specifications while just losing the all-glass back that has been compensated by plastic material & it also lacks the Dynamic Vibration System & Wireless charging too. The camera of both the new devices has also been repositioned to the center while placing a fingerprint sensor under it. Holding the device with grip is more easier with the changed rectangular design as in previous Xperia devices. While supporting hi-fi audio, AptX HD & LDAC codecs in order to deliver some high-quality wireless audio experience to its users, the company isn’t providing any headphone jack in these smartphone models.

Price & Availability: XZ2 & XZ2 Compact

These Sony Xperia XZ2 & XZ2 Compact smartphone devices will be getting available in Black, Green (with Bluish feel), Silver & Pink color variants but unfortunately the release date & price for them are yet to be revealed. Although it is very clear that both the phones will support AT&T and T-Mobile carriers & I think that Sony’s lightweight & stock-ish Android 8.0 Oreo software will easily make a way to its user’s heart.

Here we go for the most expected & fully loaded smartphone at the MWC event in Barcelona as the Galaxy S9 & S9 Plus have been unveiled. With it, one of the most popular Android phone series seems to be preserved that has brought many possible improvements that are necessary for making a smartphone more perfect. This time it has brought back the very familiar body of S8 but with an upgraded camera having dual aperture support. Both the handsets are expected to be available for pre-order from 2nd of March, 2018 that is expected to be getting into the stores by 16th of March, 2018.

While taking on the design from the predecessor, the S9 features a great display of 5.8 inches & 6.2 inches in S9 Plus, that have 18:5:9 aspect ratio with curved sides. Both the phones have Super AMOLED displays having a glass at the back & front with a resolution of 2960 x 1440 pixels. Another major change in S9 as compared with the earlier model is the fingerprint scanner that has been moved from the right of the Camera to below it like most of the other phones.

An Upgraded Camera Packed Under A Familiar Body In S9, Unveiled At MWC 2018

The all-new Camera of the S9 has only a single lens while the S9 plus has a dual camera in it. Samsung has introduced its first camera having a mechanically adjustable aperture that can be adjusted between a very bright f/1.5 to a smaller f/2.4, that depends on the surrounding exposure conditions. The bright aperture brings in 28 percent more light than the S8’s f/1.7 lens, and the f/2.4 aperture is said to help prevent overexposure in bright scenes. Also one can easily switch between the camera app for adjusting the apertures as necessary, or you can manually control them using the pro mode in the app.

Additionally, the S9’s 12-megapixel camera sensor also includes second-generation dual-pixel autofocus tech for faster and more reliable focusing, improved multi-frame noise reduction for a claimed 30 percent better low-light performance, and the ability to record slow-motion video at up to 960 frames per second (at 720p resolution). Another integration with the new camera app is Samsung’s take on the iPhone X’s Animoji, which it calls AR Emoji that lets the user capture an image of your their face, and using over 100 points, it builds a custom 3D character with user’s  features. The app then creates 18 animated GIF “stickers” that are accessible on the keyboard for use in messaging apps.

The Galaxy S9 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 processor that has a support of 4GB RAM in S9 & 6GB RAM in S9 plus having a storage capacity of 64GB as internal that can be extended further through microSD cards. The Galaxy S9 has a battery capacity of 3000 mAh while the S9 plus gets 3500 mAh of backup. Both the devices are water resistant certified by the IP68 standard, have fast charge support (wired & wireless). The S9 & S9 plus models will come with Android 8.0 Oreo running & both will work with the same Gear VR which was launched with Note 8 & with the Daydream View headset too.

S9 & S9 Plus Availability & Price

As I talked about the availability earlier also both the handsets are expected to be available for pre-order from 2nd of March, 2018 that is expected to be getting into the stores by 16th of March, 2018. The S9 will also be available on all major carriers in US & also the unlocked one directly from Samsung. The Galaxy S9 price is $719.99 for an unlocked model (or $30/month over 24 months) and the Galaxy S9 Plus price is $839.99 for unlocked (or $35/month over 24 months) from Samsung official website. While the carrier price ranges from $720 and $840 to $800 and $930. The devices will be available in Black, Blue & Purple color variants and additionally, a Grey variant will also be available internationally.

Intel Would Be Sole Supplier Of Modem In 2018 iPhone: KGI: For the upcoming iPhones in 2018, Apple will completely rely on Intel’s baseband chip as according to the latest report from KGI. Ming-Chi Kuo the KGI analyst predicted earlier that in iPhones lineups for 2018, Apple may switch to Intel completely instead of Qualcomm supplier.

Since back to few years, Apple was used Qualcomm and Intel Chipset for its iPhone models. Qualcomm was the one that supplied major percent of the chip to the Apple for iPhones but in this year the Tech Giant has completely ditched the Qualcomm for supplying of the chip.

The chip that will be used in upcoming iPhone models may support CDMA2000 and dual sim and dual standby (DSDS) which will lead to the positive market for the next-gen iPhone models. However, it was not clear that iPhone launches in 2018 will have double sim slot or not. KGI added that the Intel’s chip will be able to fulfill technical requirements to iPhone at the fairly good price.

KGI also points out that the Intel’s chipset may not be able to provide 5G networking earlier than Qualcomm that may be challenging for Apple.

Apart from Kuo, there are several other reports that claimed the Qualcomm will no longer be part of chip supplier for the iPhone to Apple in future. There are also report that suggested Apple and Intel are trying to design 5G modem for future iPhone models.

Apple May Launch Only One 6.5-inch iPhone Model with OLED Display This Year: According to earlier rumors, Apple was supposed to launch four new iPhone models this year that would be two LCD display models while the rest of the two models would be of OLED display. Digitimes analyst Luke Lin also said earlier that the two LCD iPhone models might come in 5.7-inch and 6.1-inch size while the OLED models iPhone might have 6.1-inch and 6.5-inch size. But now the latest report from the Digitimes has come that says Apple may launch only one iPhone model with OLED display in 6.5-inch size.

KGI analyst Ming-Chi Kuo also predicted that Apple will launch three iPhone models this year that will be two OLED display models while one with LCD display. The screen size of OLED model was expected to be 5.8-inch and 6.5-inch while the LCD display model was supposed to come with 6.1-inch screen size. This report was also followed by the DigiTimes as well in the past. However, now it is said that the Apple has tested four iPhone models that include a 5.8-inch LCD model, a 6.1-inch LCD model, a 6.1-inch OLED and a 6.4-inch OLED and originally Apple was in plan to come with two OLED display models and one LCD display model in the same manner as it did in 2017. In 2017 Apple has launched two iPhone models iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus with LCD display and one iPhone models iPhone X with OLED display for the first time.

With keeping in mind that there also some shortage of OLED display panels, it could be also possible that company may think about to launch only one iPhone model having OLED display in 5.8-inch screen size for 6.5-inch size in this year.   However, there is no announcement made by Apple to confirm all these rumors, we have to wait for some more time to actually know what will we have in upcoming time.
