Realme is entering various new consumer spaces altogether on May 25th marking the launch of Realme TV and Realme Watch. Yesterday, realme revealed key features of its upcoming Smart TV i.e. “realme TV” and today, they unveiled pretty much all the details around “realme Watch” and we will have a deep autopsy of all those details in this article. So, let’s Watch-Out for various elements that will help realme Watch to stand-out.
Realme Watch: All the Watch-hour details.
Realme Watch will house a humongous 3.5cm (1.4”) color display that is par-above other available options keeping in mind the advertised ‘Affordable’ tagging. We expect the display to be based on “TFT” display technology similar to the one previously found on ‘realme band’ and its clear from the teasers that the display will be a full touch-screen running capacitive touch screen technology.
The design will quite similar to some premium smartwatches like Apple Smartwatch. The primary module will be soft cornered-square in shape with a button on the right side with a small line engraving in yellow color that looks pretty sassy and dynamic adding a personal touch to the product. It also enables you to customize the display depending upon your personal requirements and traits. You would be able to change the strap as well available in various funky and classic colors with two different types of buckling mechanisms namely ‘Classic Strap’ and ‘Fashion Strap’. Initially, the watch will be delivered with a classic strap and you could order the fashion strap later through realme watch selling partner.
Realme Watch will be delivered with an Intelligent Activity Tracker that would enable you to track various aspects related to the activity you are performing like Heartbeats, Calories, and more. Realme Watch will support 14 such activities including Yoga, Badminton, Football, and Cricket i.e. specially made for Indian consumer space. Realme band that was launched previously launched under the category of fitness tracker is capable of tacking 9 activities.
Usually, a smartwatch or fitness tracker only measures the “Heart-Rate” but realme watch will pack the capability to measure the “Blood-Oxygen(SpO2)” level as well and that’s a pretty great feature to look out for.
Realme will provide you with seamless and one-stop connectivity for all your realme ecosystem products including realme smartwatch using the “realme Link” app. This app will help you receive notification from various apps directly on your smartwatch. The same app will enable you to update your watch as well whenever an OTA update is available.
Realme Band missed the support to control music through band but realme is filling up the gap by enabling support of “Music Controls” and direct “Image Capturing” with the help of which your smartwatch will act as a shutter button for the camera of your smartphone.
Those were the details revealed by realme itself over its website, although there was no hint for pricing details but we expect it to launch around Rs.4,000. That’s all for this time If you want to get your hands over more exclusive details and leaks of upcoming products you can follow Tech Awareness on Twitter.
