There are differences between the both OS as Windows are moving toward touch OS and OS X moves toward trackpad OS so there is some difference. While Mavericks is still perfect for Mac devices as it is more durable and get direct attention of Apple.
Mavericks is step toward older sister version of OS X as it has same design elements with more refined experience makes the interface more attractive. There are some elements which still remains with system and works perfectly.

It is the successor to iOS 8 and focuses less on new features and more on under-the-hood optimizations, as well as battery improvements. It was announced at the company’s WWDC 2015 keynote on June 8, 2015, and released on September 16, 2015.
On September 21, 2015, Apple announced that iOS 9 had been installed on more than 50% of “active” iOS devices as measured by the App Store, making it the fastest adoption rate for a new operating system.[2][3] As of May 9, 2016, that percentage has increased to 84%.
iOS 9 was introduced at the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference on June 8, 2015, with iOS 9.0 beta 1 being made available to registered developers straight after the keynote, and a public beta made available to members of Apple’s Beta Software Program in July. iOS 9 was released publicly on September 16, 2015.
iOS 9.0.1 was released on September 23, 2015, as the first update to iOS 9. It fixed a major bug that caused the “Slide to Upgrade” screen to freeze when updating from earlier versions of iOS.
iOS 9.0.2 was released on September 30, 2015, to fix a major lock screen bypass issue.

iOS 9.2.1 was released on January 19, 2016, with some bug fixes. On February 18, a second version of iOS 9.2.1 was released to fix an issue that could brick iPhones with Touch ID sensors that had been repaired by a third-party.

iOS 9.3.1 was released on March 31, 2016, fixing a bug that causes Safari and other apps to crash and become unresponsive after tapping on links in the app.
iOS 9.3.2 was released on May 16, 2016, restoring the ability to use Night Shift and Low Power Mode simultaneously, fixed a Bluetooth issue for iPhone SE, fixed various bugs and improvements to speed and security.
7). Multitasking
iOS 9 also adds a number of features to the iPad to improve productivity. These include Slide Over, Split View, and Picture in Picture, for enhanced multitasking, similar to the experience found on OS X El Capitan. Slide Over allows the user to pull in a second app with a swipe from the right edge of the display. This app takes up the width of 33% of the screen size, and disables interactivity within the full screen app, which takes up 66% of the display, allowing users to perform quick tasks and then dismiss the app again. If the user taps on the handle next to the Slide Over window, or extends it further towards the left of the screen, the user enters Split View, which allows users to interact with two apps simultaneously side-by-side in a 50%/50% split. Users can switch to another app in either Slide Over mode or Split-Screen view by pulling down on the handle on top of either app and selecting another app from the list to replace the existing one. The Split-Screen Multitasking feature is only be available to iPad Air 2, iPad mini 4, and iPad Pro. However, the Slide Over and Picture in Picture feature will be available on the iPad Air, iPad Air 2, iPad mini 2 and higher, and the iPad Pro. The iPad 2, 3rd generation, 4th generation, and Mini (1st Generation) will not receive any of these multitasking updates.
When banner notifications are tapped, causing another app to open, a back button at the top-left corner of the screen has been added, bringing the user back to the previous app.
The app switcher is redesigned, with app previews stacked on each other that are swiped through in a carousel effect. It also removes the recent contacts section found in iOS 8.
8). Proactivity
Intelligence is one of the main features in iOS 9, consisting of the newly integrated Siri and Search (previously known as Spotlight), as well as “proactivity” throughout the operating system. iOS is now more aware of contextual information (such as time and location), and proactively provides the user with what they may need in advance to save them time and effort. For example, the Search screen displays suggested apps, nearby points of interest from Maps and current news stories, based on time of day and location. When typing, Search has also been improved to display instant answers in an at-a-glance, widget-like format, similar to that provided in the Siri interface. Search can display current weather, sports scores, news, and more. The Search screen with proactive suggestions can be accessed by swiping to the left of the first home screen, as with the old Spotlight in iPhone OS 3 to 6. The new Search screen is not available on the iPhone 4S, iPad 2, iPad (3rd generation), iPad Mini (1st generation), and iPod Touch (5th generation).[32] However, the Search field and Siri button can also be accessed by swiping down on any page of the home screen (as in iOS 7/8), but doesn’t show any suggestions. The intelligence also extends into apps. For instance, in Mail, events can be automatically added to Calendar if details are found in the message content, and likely additional recipients are suggested during message composition. Siri is also aware of what is currently onscreen when it is engaged by holding down the home button. For example, if a user is shopping for something in Safari, the user can say, “Remind me about ‘this’ when I get home”, and Siri will set a reminder with a geofence and attached link of the current page. The user can also ask Siri “Show me photos I took last June” and Siri will direct into the photos app, similar to the new Spotlight in OS X 10.11 El Capitan.[33]
3D Touch:
3D Touch, which is only available on the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus, is incorporated into iOS 9. Quick Actions and shortcuts are added to applications that support this feature, and are triggered by pressing slightly harder on the application icon. 3D Touch on iOS 9 also introduces actions known as Peek and Pop, which lets users preview all kinds of content and act on it without having to actually open it. For example, a consumer can “Peek” (preview) at emails in the user’s inbox by pressing lightly on the email, and by pressing harder, the user will “Pop” open the email and see its full content. Users can also preview a webpage if they have a link to it, by pressing the link gently, without having to leave the current application that they are on.[35] The taptic engine in iPhone 6s and 6s plus provide haptic feedback each time users press the screen harder.[36]
Night Shift
Night Shift is a feature introduced in iOS 9.3. The feature, similar to F.lux, a popular program for Microsoft Windows and Apple OS X computers.[37] When enabled, it uses the device’s clock and geographic location to determine when to turn the feature on or off. Optionally, the user can set a manual schedule, or not have a schedule at all. For ease of access, there is a new Night Shift toggle that has been added to the Control Center. The settings for Night Shift are located under “Display and Brightness” in the Settings app, and on top of enabling the feature and setting a schedule, the user can also set the warmth of the display.[38] Night Shift is automatically turned off when Low Power Mode is enabled, although users have been able to find workarounds for enabling both at the same time.[39][40] Only the iPhone 5s and later, the iPad mini 2 and later, the iPad Air and later, the sixth-generation iPod Touch, and the iPad Pro can be used with Night Shift. The iPhone 4s, iPhone 5, iPad 2 to iPad (4th generation), and iPod Touch (5th generation) do not receive the Night Shift Feature as it requires the 64-bit processors found in the Apple A7 to Apple A9 chips.
Supported devices:
With this release, Apple did not drop support for any iOS devices, with all devices supporting iOS 8 also able to run iOS 9.[67] Supported devices on this release include the iPhone 4S onwards, iPod Touch (5th generation) onwards, the iPad 2 onwards, and the iPad Mini (1st generation) onwards, making iOS 9 have the most supported devices than any other iOS release, with 22 devices. The iPad 2 is also the first iOS device to support six major releases of iOS, supporting iOS 4 to 9. This is the greatest amount of major iOS releases a single iOS device has supported, surpassing the iPhone 4S which supports five major releases (iOS 5 to 9), and iPod Touch (5th generation) supporting four major releases (iOS 6 to 9). However, iOS 9 has limited support on the iPad 2, the iPhone 4S, the iPad Mini (1st generation), and the iPod Touch (5th generation).
Facebook Messenger New Emoji: Facebook Messenger is overhauling its emoji today with new designs and a focus on diversity. Many of the new emoji include support for skin tone selection, just as iOS added last year and Android will add later this year. Facebook also says that Messenger’s new emoji do a better job with gender, putting women in more roles and including gender-agnostic options in other cases. Facebook says it’s the first platform to include “a female police officer, runner, pedestrian, surfer, and swimmer,” among others to come.
Facebook Messenger New Emoji:
Facebook is also making another key change to the way it handles emoji: no matter what platform you’re viewing Messenger on, you’ll now see the emoji made by Facebook. Until now, Facebook was inconsistent about which emoji would show up; so some people might see Facebook’s emoji, and other people might see the emoji native to whatever phone they’re using.
Though emoji are supposed to be consistent across platforms, in practice there are slight variations that can lead to some real misunderstandings in meaning. With this change, Facebook is trying to clear up those misunderstandings.
There’s been a vocal push over the past year or so to introduce emoji that better represent our world. The first step has been introducing a skin tone selector for various emoji.
The latest push has been to do a better job with gender, starting with putting women in professional roles. It sounds like Facebook is getting a head start on that by introducing its own custom emoji; that may not be great for standardization, but it’s definitely a good thing for pushing other companies to act. Hopefully we’ll see more platforms follow, and improve upon the existing work, soon.
Samsung Gear Fit 2: Specification, Features And Review: Fitness tracker is now becoming trend as people were curious about there health as trackers are small in size and gives major data about your daily activity. To create a miniature device into wrist based tracking device and capable to track as many activities they can. Samsung is creating this type of device since while. So they have announce yesterday new Samsung Gear Fit 2 after predecessors Gear Fit released in 2014. The new device has new capability and new design.
The device get new built in GPS, ability to automatically recognize certain activities, also get some common watch feature and also measure heart rate. Samsung Gear Fit 2 get many changes from inside and out. As this is first fitness devices comes with larger display with touch capabilities. So lest see what new with Samsung’s new fitness tracker. These device is compatible with all Samsung latest device like Samsung Galaxy Note 5, Samsung Galaxy S7 so on and look very elegant.
Samsung Gear Fit 2: Specification, Features And Review:
The first to notice while seeing the device the design as is becomes more flexible band style than earlier model. Device is in shape of wrist means the display is slightly curve to fit in wrist style. The devices is optimal to use for daily day to day activity as display got overall devices size but looks good device is flexible and wear easily without any issues.
Gear Fit 2 measure (51.2×24.5)mm while it is available in two sizes larger measure 150-210mm and smaller measure 125-170mm. As device fit with everyone hand easily. Device is light in weight and never feel heavy device in hand.
Gear Fit does have two button to control device UI. Device is made of metal, rubber and glass material. Thin design and seamless integration of display and bandis fabulous.
Display measures about 1.5-inch with resolution 216×432 pixel. Samsung uses super AMOLED display which accommodate the device perfectly user use touch display and button to swipe through UI. Display is good visibility in any light condition, though display is vertical data also show.
The first noticeable thing about the new Gear Fit 2 is its size. It’s a more flexible band than the original Gear Fit, which felt unforgiving on the wrist, but it’s also bigger. This is partly to accommodate a larger — Samsung notes it’s twice as wide as the prior model — 1.5-inch, super AMOLED display, which was designed with maximum visibility in mind. All of the data is displayed vertically on your wrist, which means you don’t have to turn your wrist to view a horizontal display.
In addition to tracking workout distances using the GPS sensors, the Gear Fit 2 tracks the now-standard assortment of personal health metrics: steps, sleep, various activities, and heart rate. It includes a daily timeline view of your daily activities, and will show entire maps of running or cycling routes after you’ve finished your activity, because again, that big display. And it will show a variety of notifications from your smartphone.
Samsung is also the second tech company in recent days that has partnered with Spotify to create a dedicated Spotify app for its new wearable gadget. (Pebble was the other.) So there are three options for music listening through the new wristband. You can store up to 4GB of music locally on the device, use the wristband as a Bluetooth remote control for other music apps on the phone, or play Spotify from your wrist — although you’ll still need a phone in tow for that, at least for now.
Its expected battery life is better than you might expect for a wristband with a large display and GPS. Samsung says it expects the band to last three to four days with typical usage, and up to five days long in standby mode.
Gear Fit 2 Has A Dedicated Spotify App:
The Gear Fit 2 costs $179 and will ship before the end of the year. That’s $20 less than the price of the original Gear Fit, which retailed for $199, and around the same price as the Microsoft Band 2, another activity-tracking wristband with built-in GPS. It’s also significantly less than the price of the GPS-equipped Fitbit Surge, which costs $250. I have to give Samsung credit for cramming as many capabilities as it could into a sub-$200 wristband.
However, the Gear Fit 2 has one drawback that those other aforementioned bands don’t have: it only works with Android smartphones (4.4 or higher), whereas Fitbits, Microsoft Band, and even Garmin devices work with a variety of mobile platforms as well as desktop software.
Samsung does say that the Gear Fit 2 can be used independently of a mobile phone, so if you did have an iOS device and you still, for whatever reason, really wanted to wear the Gear Fit 2, you could. But I can’t see how the limitations would be worth it, considering you wouldn’t get “smart” notifications from your phone, and you’d only be able to look at your workout data directly on the wristband.
So Samsung is pulling an Apple, by introducing a wearable that’s meant to have broad appeal but is limited to one platform (for now). It’s an approach that has worked moderately well for Apple so far; by some estimates the company may have sold between 10 and 12 million smartwatches in its first year, and Apple is ranked third on IDC’s list of top wearable’s vendors for the first quarter of 2016. But Samsung is fifth on that same list, claiming just a 3.6 percent share of the worldwide wearable’s market, and that sliver is mostly comprised of Samsung’s smartwatches, not fitness bands.
Samsung is obviously wagering that the new Gear Fit 2 might be tech-sexy enough to help the company grow its overall share in the wearable’s market. But I have to offer a stock conclusion for now: until we have the chance to test it for an extended period of time, we won’t know for sure.
For many months now Samsung has been teasing fitness band fans around the world with quirky little tidbits about their updated Gear Fit 2. Finally, things have cleared up and the company has made the device available for $179. The Gear Fit 2 could be available in India for almost Rs 15,000 once it launches here.
But in spite of the pricing, this is the best upgrade Samsung has brought to the fitness segment. We take a detailed look at all the new upgrades, and why this product is for those who want to work, play and workout with ease.
The new Gear Fit 2 has a much better design than its predecessor and fits perfectly on the wrist. You would love to wear it the entire day.
Staying fit at all times is the primary function of the Gear Fit 2. It records accurate statistics for every activity that you undertake. It automatically recognizes when you’re riding, running or walking up the stairs.
The Gear Fit 2 has a built-in GPS sensor that tracks your movements and patterns. It can give you proper records of the distance you run and time you took to reach back home. Also read Fitness devices can transform orthopaedic care: Study
Capturing accurate heartbeat rates, the Gear Fit 2 now has better-improved sensors at the back.Fitness goals are now competitive. You can challenge your friend to achieve a goal and vice versa. And the Fit 2 can show you how well you stand against your friend. Tizen is Samsung’s home-brewed OS that runs on all their wearable’s. And the same is used in the Gear Fit 2. MacBook Pro 2016 Leaks shows that Apple is reportedly to introduce a major update to its MacBook Pro lineup sometime during the fourth quarter of this year. The update is said to bring a thinner design and a new OLED touch bar above the keyboard. Now, a set of spy shots claim to show the chassis of the refreshed MacBook Pro and where the reported OLED touch bar will be located.
MacBook Pro 2016 Leaks Images:
The images, obtained by Cult of Mac, show a keyboard chassis with a missing top row of function keys, which is where last week’s report claimed the OLED touchbar would be located. These images suggest that the screen won’t extend up towards the hinge-like some expected and will simply replace the existing row of function keys.
Furthermore, these images show four USB-C ports and a headphone jack as the only physical connections on the MacBook Pro. This suggests that the SD card slot and MagSafe connector will be dropped this year in favor of USB-C.
Last week’s report claimed that the refreshed MacBook Pro models will be thinner and lighter than the current models. It’s hard to tell from these images just how thin they are, but they do appear to be at least a tad thinner than the current models.
Finally, it appears that Apple has relocated the speakers to either side of the keyboard, even on the 13-inch model. Currently, the 15-inch MacBook Pro features speakers on the sides of the keyboard while the 13-inch model has speakers located on the back of the keyboard. This change would make for a more forward-facing sound experience on the thirteen-inch model while also making room for the OLED touchpad.
Obviously these photos should be taken with a dose of skepticism. They are allegedly from an “anonymous source who claims to work for one of Apple’s manufacturing partners in China,” so it’s unclear how legitimate they are. On the other hand, they do provide a look at how the 2016 MacBook Pro could potentially look.
Last week, a report detailed the changes we can expect, while Intel and Samsung have both announced next-gen hardware that could potentially find its way to Apple’s “Pro” laptop. Apple is said to be set to introduce a dramatically overhauled MacBook Pro lineup during the fourth quarter of this year.

LG Watch Urbane 2nd Edition: Complete Specification & Features: Smartwatches are actually the next and most personal device after smartphone but devices are still present in market are required presence of smartphone but not now as Smartwatches like Gear S 2 or LG Watch Ub.
Smartwatches that don’t actually need a smartphone to function seem poised to be the next hot thing in wearables. Samsung’s already attempted this with a couple of its Gear watches — most recently with the Gear S2 3G — and Google just announced a revamped version of Android Wear that promises to make the smartwatch more independent from the smartphone.
Android Wear 2.0 won’t actually be available until later this year, but we can get a taste of some of its independent features with LG’s Watch Urbane 2nd Edition LTE right now. The Urbane 2 (as it will be referred to throughout the rest of this article, because that full name is ridiculous) is unlike any other Android Wear watch in that it has its own cellular connection and doesn’t have to rely on a Bluetooth tether to your phone. As noted, it’s not the first smartwatch with this functionality, but it is the first model with Google’s software to have it.
LG Watch Urbane 2nd Edition: Complete Specification & Features:
A cellular connection on your watch means that you don’t have to carry your phone around with you to use the watch’s smart functions. All other Android Wear watches become little more than dumb watches if they aren’t connected to your phone over Bluetooth or in range of a Wi-Fi network.
But the Urbane 2 can use its cellular connection to enable its smart features when you’re away from Wi-Fi and don’t have your phone with you. Voice search, notifications, messaging, even phone calls are available from your wrist wherever you are.
But this freedom comes at a very high cost. The Urbane 2 is available from AT&T and Verizon and frankly, it’s expensive. AT&T sells it for $359.99, but you can get for $199.99 if you commit to paying for two years of data service on it. Verizon’s model is even pricier: its $499.99 or $449.99 with a two-year contract.
Both carriers charge monthly fees on top of your phone’s service for the watch’s data connection: $5 per month at Verizon and $10 per month at AT&T. Unless your watch is made of gold, it’s almost surely not worth these prices. The Urbane 2 is made out of steel, rubber, and plastic.
Cellular Freedom Comes At A Cost:
Here’s how its cellular features work: if you go out and happen to leave your phone at home and connected to Wi-Fi or cellular, the Urbane will let you do all the same stuff as if your phone was in your pocket and paired over Bluetooth, provided it was already set up and paired to the phone. (The phone is necessary for set up and installation of any apps or watchfaces to the watch.)
You can receive new notifications, use apps, perform voice searches, and even answer phone calls and reply to messages with emoji, your voice, or canned responses.
But if your phone isn’t connected to Wi-Fi or cellular for whatever reason, the Urbane 2’s functions become much more limited. It will still let you access offline functions (timers, alarms, activity tracking, etc.) but any “online” features such as app notifications, voice searches, weather alerts, or navigation will not work.
The AT&T model will let you make and receive calls and texts in the watch’s “offline” mode, but the Verizon version will just let you answer incoming calls.
I’ve been using the AT&T model with a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. The Urbane 2’s cellular features have worked as advertised: if the watch isn’t connected to my phone via Bluetooth, I can still use virtually all of its functions. AT&T’s NumberSync service makes it easy to send and receive calls and messages from the watch, syncing my messages and routing all calls through my main phone’s number.
But it’s slow when connected to a cellular network compared to Wi-Fi or Bluetooth to my phone. Apps take longer to load data and voice searches and transcription can take an inordinately long time.3 Notifications that ping my phone show up on my watch, but I can’t do much other than delete the occasional email or dismiss the notification entirely.
That functionality is rather limited and it’s hard to justify the Urbane 2’s subscription cost for it. It might be appealing to avid runners that want to remain connected without a phone strapped to their arm (like other Android Wear watches, the Urbane 2 has 4GB of onboard storage for music and can stream to Bluetooth headphones and it can use location services to track your run), but since most people have their phone with them at all times anyway, the Urbane’s features are often redundant.
As a watch, the Urbane 2 is thicker, larger, and heavier than others, such as Motorola’s Moto 360 or the Huawei Watch. Its 1.38-inch, fully round display is very sharp — LG boasts that the 480 x 480 pixel P-OLED’s 348PPI resolution is the highest you can currently get on a smartwatch — and often looks great, but it can still be difficult to read outdoors.
THE URBANE 2 IS THICKER, HEAVIER, AND LESS COMFORTABLE TO WEAR THAN OTHER SMARTWATCHES
The fixed (read: you can’t change or customize it) rubber strap is stiff and uncomfortable on my wrist, and it often leaves marks on my skin. The Urbane 2 has two extra hardware buttons not found on other Android Wear watches, which are set to launch the contacts list and LG’s fitness tracking app. But they aren’t programmable, and I didn’t find either of those functions very useful in my day to day routine.
Battery life, which is a major concern with all smartwatches, let alone ones with cellular features, is strong enough to last a full day even with always-on screen features, and LG has added a power-saving mode to extend it further. The Urbane 2’s stamina on cellular networks has been much better than Samsung’s Gear S2, in my experience, but it’s still something that needs to be charged every night.
So here’s the best way to look at the Watch Urbane 2nd Edition LTE: it’s a preview of what’s to come. Android Wear 2 promises to greatly expand upon a cellular connected watch’s abilities, allowing you to use all of its functions without a phone and even install apps directly to the watch itself. It will make using an Android Wear watch with an iPhone a much better experience, and it might even justify your carrier’s monthly service fee for the watch’s cellular features.
It’s very likely that the Urbane 2 will receive the update this fall (developers can already install a preview of it on the watch now), and there will certainly be new cellular Android Wear watches hitting shelves around that time, too.
THE URBANE 2 IS A PREVIEW OF WHAT’S TO COME
But for now, the Urbane 2 is a bit too large, a bit too expensive, and not differentiated enough from other Android Wear options to justify its higher cost and monthly fees. If you desperately want a watch with a cellular radio, wait until this one (or the next one) comes with the software to actually make that useful.
Update 11:15AM, May 31st: An earlier version of this article stated that the monthly cost for service on the Watch Urbane 2nd Edition LTE was $10 per month at both Verizon and AT&T. It is $5 per month at Verizon and $10 per month with AT&T[Source].
