Last year Razer 14 looks like a gaming Notebook but this year Razer completely overhaul whole design from inside and out. As Razer Blade Stealth is Ultrabook having some feature of gaming world with glossy keyboard and tough design. From its first look Razer Blade look much like gaming design notebook which opens up start performing. Razer Blade is made up of anodised Aluminium from top to bottom so device looks rigid and gives tough feelings. As you twist up the device you can see bend into it.

As device much looks like a black offering of MacBook Pro as all design pattern is much like Macbook from top to bottom. On the bottom side Razer Blade has rubber stand to lift up the Notebook so Air can pass away easily. From the front panel to keyboard, trackpad and even speakers design are like Macbook Pro. While other factors of design looks like a gaming Notebook. On the side you will find a USB-3.0 Port a 3.5mm headphone jack and a Thunderbolt 3 adaptor which is original game changer of this PC. While on the other side you’ll fine another USB 3.0 port with HDMI port. On the front you’ll find a LED notification indicator which show recent notification. While on the lid you’ll find Razer Logo which light up when you power on and looks awesome in dark.

As Razer Blade has already takes heart away with its design in 2016 CES as it can be fit in any life situation as a gamer or other work. Blade is nice as compared with it Air and XPS 13 this device lies between them can you image how this device is insanely thin and compact. Taking look at its dimension about 0.52” / 13.1 mm (Height) x 12.6” / 321 mm (Width) x 8.1” / 206 mm (Depth) and just weigh around 2.75 lbs /1.25 kg which is very nice when we look at this notebook. Display is glossy and color output is nice as Adobe RGB gives it 100% which means phenomenal color coverage. Viewing angle of the device is upto 170 degree which is enough for this device as looking from side it display isn’t lose any detail. While watching 4K content detailing of the device is so nice that you even lose in the detailing. Color accuracy is so much better that device that you can’t differentiate any color with your eyes. Viewing this device in bright room or light still not vanish your content so you can easily get going.

Razer has option in Display in two variant of Q-HD(2560×1440 resolution with 234ppi) display and 4K(3840×2160 resolution with 352ppi) display. As both option have touch enable screen so you can opt any of these. As Q-HD model gives 70% Adobe RGB which is also nice for this display.

Hardware:

Taking look of Spec of this device you’ll thought how this it a gaming notebook with specification of a Ultrabook so this is really true but how this device become a gaming best we’ll check it on another article soon. But assumes it has a Ultrabook for now.

From its heart this device is power with Intel’s 6th Gen Skylake’s Core i7 6500U Dual Core Clocked at 2.5GHz with Turbo bost of 3.1GHz as it also supports Hyper Threading Processor with 8GB of LPDDR3 RAM clocked at 1866MHz with storage upto 512GB SSD PCIeM.2. While on the first verge device this notebook not able to run games and it true. As device uses Intel HD Graphics 520 which hardly handles game.

In our game test we ran certain games like CS Go which nice in medium setting gives playable FPS while in Low setting FPS is very fast and Fluid. Playing Assassins Creed Unity won’t able to give any playable content in this games as frames are just lies between 10-20FPS which is low even in low setting.

For connectivity this device has Wi-Fi 802.11ac with Bluetooth v4.1. And Ports include in device is 2xUSB 3.0, 1x Thunderbolt 3, HDMI Port and 3.5mm headphone jack. For Video calling device has webcam 2.0MP which is very nice give good picture output.

Interface:

Razer shipped this device with Windows 10 Pro which is upgradable to new Anniversary build which enhances this device touch capability as using it with touch pen you can make this device as personal canvas with ease. While using features like new Note works seamlessly. Best companion of this device is non other than Cortana which works very fast and fluid. Overall windows really work nice doing work stuff like office all work seamlessly and nice. While doing video editing in 4K is also work with device with very ease.

Audio:

While playing games or listening to music speakers of this device outperforms very well as speakers are stereo speakers with nice sound output as sometime it pre flexed in bass and treble otherwise it’s good.

Heating:

Heating dissipation of this device is very good as device has low power specs which won’t able to heat up this device up. As earlier model of Razer won’t get much heat dissipation easily as this device really has good one.

Keyboard & Trackpad:

New Razer Keyboard which easily catches our eyes easily with all keys have power to gives out 16.8M color out of it so you can think how variation is available. As there are some pre configuration which looks like gamers Notebook as it is powered with Razer Chroma backlit keyboard which help this device to light up in different ways. The much like effect you see is ripple one which lights up keyboard like ripple. Razer also give user to select each key’s color so device always get your personal touch.

Trackpad of this device is nice addition with support of all Windows gesture which helps you to perform system multitasking with ease and fast. While some time trackpad shows little error which give incorrect output but only for sometime.

Battery:

Battery of this device gives out over 5-6 hour of daily usage while playing games on 4K display will run upto 1 hour complete. While battery may also need to improve as travelling this Notebook and playing game is gives out some time bad experience.

Overall:

Razer Blade Stealth is nice slimmer and lighter than other competitors. While device is really affordable not in terms of Gaming but as Ultrabook usage as its base unit has Core i7 configuration which runs all task you throw at it. The machine has nice gaming in nearby future with graphic accelerator which is available in market. Screen and Keyboard of this device are two things you really gonna notice.

Design of this Chromebook some times remind about Macbook Pro with approx same design patter and symmetry. While Chromebook has many better feature than its rival apart from feature. Talking about Pixel 2 has nice overhaul model of Pixel with same metal design and elegant and sleek design. Metal use in this device is very rough and tough as using device i never fell this device is fragile as it always look tough. I never experience any suff or scratching metal even using device carelessly but I never throw the device from high as it obviously broke my device. But holding this device and carry it very easy while working on lap also not fell too heavy.

On the side device has a Type-C port which great addition to future technology and also have a SD card slot for extra space. While on the other side device has one more Type-C port with 2xUSB 3.0 Port and 3.5mm headphone Jack. On the top of the chassis you’ll find that double tap lights up multicolour strip and shows battery while as you start-up device they also light up.

As dimension of device has 11.7″ x 8.8″ x 0.6″ (WxDxH) and Weigh around 3.3 lbs. While Notebook not the thinnest or nor even the lightest one but you never feel anything while carrying along with you. The Pixel 2 has overall the same design as the first one, with a 0.6-inch thick chassis that weighs 3.3 pounds as device is not thin or light but not looking like brick as earlier model.

While watching content like movies or youtube video looks perfect while watching 2K or 4K content also looks nice. Detailing in this device is major purpose of making it and it really works. Display some time appears better than Macbook Pro’s Retinal Display.

While spec of display is 12.9-inch display having 2560×1700 resolution with ppl approx 239 which never let you to miss a details. as this display dell you see things more realistic than ever. The most bad about this display is aspect ratio of the device which is 3:2 which hurts multitasking some time.

Hardware

While we are using Chromebook Pixel LS 2 where LS stands for Ludicrous Speed. As this is really true for this version of Chromebook as device is powered by Intel’s Core i7 Dual Core 2.4GHZ Processor clubbed with 16GB of RAM and 64GB SSD Storage as you can expand with external microSD card. While this device i never fell any lag or slow down in my entire experience either doing multitasking, doing some web work or watching content this notebook work as perfect as like from first day i used it.

While Pixel 2 is available in two model one with Core i5 processor and other with Core i7 Processor with RAM option of 8GB or 16GB. While storage of these devices are too low but still has 32GB and 64GB option. While you never fell any issue about usage this device as it work nice whatever has inside.

For connectivity, device includes Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth for Wireless connectivity. Webcam of this device is the 720p camera which is not so nice for daily usage as video call experience is not so nice but much.

Ports of this device have 2x USB Type-C port, 2x USB 3.0 Port and 3.5mm headphone jack.

Interface 

As from name Chromebook runs on Chrome OS which is initiative taken by Google as it is web-based OS. But Chrome OS is nice make over as compared to other OS as the very first experience you fell that device has something to offer. As new Chrome OS update able to run Android Apps on Chromebook which really enhances it Power of utility.

Having touch display also benefit this device as easily chose between use by trackpad or touch screen as both are good options for the device.

Audio and Heating

Audio experience this device feel like muffle as speakers are built inside the keyboard so sounds are feel squeaky some times. But overall it good. Chromebook uses heating dissipation is so nice using to for too long not feel it ever. Working on Lap is not problem as you only feel little heat.

Keyboard & Trackpad

Keyboard of this device is best in class as it best for long typing articles, essay, stories and much more. As Keyboard is backlit which is nice so working in dark wont cause any problem. Keyboard keys are preciously placed so you can type with ease and also well.
Trackpad of this device gives sometimes Mac experience side of the trackpad is nicely placed LED which shows chrome light which is nice additions.

 

Battery

After using Macbook this is the second device which i experience has competitive battery like it with 12 hour of usage as said by Google but i probably get about 9-11 hour which nice for all day work.
Charging of the device really gives new experience as it supports fast charing to you can easily charge full device within 2-3 hours and get goings. As charger has Type-C ports so you can plug on both sides of the device and charge it.

Overall

Google has put more emphasis on this OS so that they can achieve success in the field of Computing.

 

Taking about prices Chromebook it is most expensive Chromebook you have as Core i5 model cost about $999 while more Core i7 cost about more $600 by due to which this device won’t able to make dent in market. Connectivity

Switch on the Edifier Extreme Connect MP260 and it is immediately viewable in your smartphone or tablet’s  Bluetooth menu. Available in black, blue, grey, yellow and red, the Edifier Extreme Connect MP260 is best used on a hard surface. If you put the volume up really loud, something you will have to do using the buttons on the top of the speaker itself (up there are also buttons for skipping track, changing input and for hanging-up a phone call), the sound quality quickly degenerates into an treble heavy distorted mess. The speaker also moves around a table if you go really loud. However, if you listen at a more normal volume – and we’re still talking pretty loud – it’s got a lot more low-frequency sound than any laptop speakers. As a speaker for one or two people to listen to in a hotel bedroom, the Edifier Extreme Connect MP260 is bang on.

No Limitation Of  Range

That miniSD/microSD card slot means that the Edifier Extreme Connect MP260 doesn’t have to be used as a Bluetooth speaker, which is good news because its range is actually no more than about 20 feet (in our test). If you’re going to use theEdifier Extreme Connect MP260 outside, perhaps on a beach, then we would strongly recommend you use that miniSD/microSD card slot.

Overall

While we reviewing this device we come across many exciting things about this product with its light and elegant design. While device light and bright color are also looks vibrant and awesome. While listening music quality of audio is moderate and loud while listening in in top volumes some time distort when in high bass. While putting device in flat surface it make speakers vibration. But the speaker has solid audio performance at moderate volume.

HP Spectre Review:Lighter and Thinner Than “Air”: Earlier this year Hp has to unveil its new World’s Thinnest Laptop which called as Spectre. Might be heard like Movie Spectre but not from looks and performance. Unlike many other Ultrabook, this Laptop has filled with some serious stuff but still remains in the compact size. Using Spectre for the while surely take your heart away with its elegant looks and seamless design.

As we compared with this Apple MacBook 2016 which is also incredible machine but has less power and beautification. HP made this laptop from scratch with all new design, a premium material used and power which builds inside. As Apple always be kings of Premium Laptop this Laptop really gives hard to it. But see how spectre performs in real life situation so let’s get started.

The design of new spectre is only one-word answer phenomenal as a device is so sleek and color pattern are just perfect. Spectre is made up of metal and carbon fiber which made this laptop so light and sleek. HP engineered this notebook very well as spaces are just filled with stuff perfectly. Hp uses Hing joint to attach display which is very rough and tough for the longer time but won’t makes more angle as you bend backward.
Looking device from Side there is no port option on both side as a device is plated with Gold covering while at the device include 3 Type-C port which nice addition than MacBook 12″. While there is 3.5mm jack also on the back.
From the material point of view device, each part are nicely designed to bring out luxury from this Notebook. The device has shades of Black and Gold which perfectly blended to looks elegant in design. Display of this device is 13.3″ which is very thins as from side you won’t able to differentiate between display and space.
As we compared with its rival MacBook 12″ this device is thinner than that also with 0.11″ as MacBook 12″ has 0.52″ at its thickest point and Spectre has 0.41″ at its thickest point. As compared it with MacBook Air this device also wins by .27″.

Spectre measures with the dimension of 12.79 x 8.6 x 0.63 inches, 10.4 millimeters (0.41 inch) and weight of 2.45 pounds — which HP to call “The Thinnest Laptop in the World”. While using this Laptop won’t feel too much heavy as feel as light as the feather.

HP doesn’t compromise with Display quality despite thinnest design with the gorgeous F-HD display having not touch screen. Display quality is vivid and produces nice color output which feels nice and saturated. Watching movies, YouTube content all look nice without cause too much eye strain in high brightness. Contrast, Color saturation, RGB GAMUT and detailing are just awesome.

Taking about spec sheet device has 13.3″ LED display with 1920×1090 resolution which supports wide-angle view up to 178 degrees. This device won’t have the option for 4K which should introduce in this notebook.

Hardware

Taking about Hardware don’t go this device size or thin design as it filled with a premium quality processor and powerful RAM which make it handle all task which you throw at it. As a device is power by Intel Core I series processor as available in the option of Core i5 and Core i7. The memory includes 8GB DDR3 SDRAM 1,866MHz. While Storage option includes option of 256GB or 512GB of SSD.

As device, we are reviewing has Intel’s Skylake 6th gen chipset Core(TM) i7-6500U Processor Dual-Core + Intel(R) HD Graphics 520 (For 8GB memory) as both has dual core processor. The storage option is 512GB SSD which is enough so usage. While we recommend you to have Core i7 With 256GB option which is greatest for all daily task.

The device also includes Intel’s Integrated Graphic card HD 520 which not handle very hard-core game but manages to keep its frame nice. Playing game is not meant for this device but handle another graphical task very ease.
While reviewing this product we don’t feel any slow downs or lag. While we do 4K video editing, Opening Chrome 30 Tabs, Editing Photos as these things handled by Notebook with very ease without any problem. By the help of this processor the devices do seriously intensive task with good multitasking and performance will never let you down.
Connectivity option device includes Wi-FI 802.11ac and Bluetooth v4.2 while other purposes of Syncing includes 3xType-C and 3.5mm Headphone jack. As from this observation device uses a very little place for ports.

Interface 

HP Spectre is shipped with preinstalled Windows 10 Pro this laptop is fully optimized for all the features of Windows 10 all the gesture, Cortana, and Multitasking only thing this lack of biometric protection which supports Windows hello. This NoteBook also excludes Touch screen so no Pen Paper on this.

Audio 

HP notebooks are shipped with B&o Speakers which is best in class speaker and also made it’s entry in spectre also. As Audio quality is phenomenal and nice without any distortion. Watching movies, listening music feel nice as Speakers are capable of filling your whole room with it’s Boom.

 Heating

Heating dissipation in so thin laptop is problematic situation but HP very keenly solves this processor and manage heat dissipation very easily. Which made this laptop so user-friendly for the longer time on your lap. As device really fell great and fan noise is also not too much. TouchPad section of laptop rarely heats on very heavy task.

Keyboard & TrackPad

The keyboard on Spectre is very elegant and nice with the premium feel and nice touch button as these are scissor mechanism button which uses many notebooks nowadays. While Keyboard is enough large and keys are separated too much for easy typing experience.
The trackpad on the device also nice matches exactly pattern of a body which sometime Hide it sometimes. While all gesture of Windows is working here so no problem on that. The trackpad is also snapper and easy to use.

Battery

As calling this device a World’s Thinnest Laptop is no doubt about it as very thin and light design which suits in any life situation of Student, Office Men or any other purpose as this is powerful as well as ergonomic design. 

HP claims that Spectre 13.3-inch Up to 12 hours and 30 minutes of battery backup as it uses 3-cell 56WHr Lithium-ion Battery. As it uses AAA battery to power it but is really manage to give about 7-8 hour of backup which enough for full day use. While we test this notebook by watching Youtube video, movies and videos.
