Google now making more distinction between its hardware, as Google now owns Nest so they are changing the names of products from Nest side as Google Nest. Under new naming, Google has announced a new product like Nest Wi-Fi and Point also. Google is also changing the name of its Home Mini as Nest Mini which is little up-gradation over 2017 Google Home Mini.
The Nest Mini might look similar to Google Home Mini but Nest has made some improvements over the device by including better sound experience with a bass boost in the same package. Now Nest Mini has the option to wall mount so you can place Nest Mini more assessable place possible. It’ll come in four colors: black, light gray, coral, and light blue.
According to Google, Nest Mini has twice as strong sound experience with twice the bass for the more natural sound experience. Google also includes some smarter features like when you try to approach over the device, Nest Mini lights up along with its button so the user can easily see the volume up and down buttons. This smarter feature makes the device more ergonomically amazing, Google tries to implement the best smart speaker experience into such a small package as compared with competitions Nest Mini design is minimal and looks like dissolve into home decoration rather than looking like a proper speaker.
Nest Mini also features to connect with another Nest speaker to create a louder sound experience which is good for the party or if the user change room while listening to music. Google Duo calls through the Google Home app or uses other Nest speakers as intercoms, this feature really makes a more intuitive approach to reduce human effort.
Google Assistant is the main center of attraction of this device Nest Mini not miss any chances to show this off, as a user can perform the majority of the Assistant task pretty easily and Google also implementing user control privacy for the device so the user can understand what data Google is taking from user’s voice. The company says the Nest Mini also now includes a third microphone that’ll help in noisy environments, and it features a dedicated machine learning chip that allows Google Assistant features to run faster and on the device itself. Google also making some experience like switching lights off or timer kinds of things to run natively without having requested a server so that the user can feel the responsiveness of the device.
It’ll cost $49, and the preorder is started. It is available from October 22nd and will be available in 23 countries.
