    Microsoft Surface device is one of the best competitors for Apple Mac’s but recently Microsoft decision for new devices makes some dots among user. Before this week, Microsoft responded by removing its recommendations for Microsoft’s Surface line of devices, citing poor reliability after two years of use. These things are not good for Microsoft and it will rupture the image of the Surface line among user.

    Microsoft Surface devices built by Microsoft both Hardware and Software which gives the edge to Microsoft to make the device more flawless. The Consumer reports survey results that have been received with the mixed responses because the Surface device is suffering from reliability issue.

    Surface Pro And Surface Studio Is One Of The Best Flagship Of Microsoft

    New 2017 Microsoft lineup like Surface Pro, Surface Studio is top of any competitor in terms of each and every aspects of products. While Microsoft responded that they disagree with customer reports findings.

    While Microsoft Surface lead Panos Panay has responded to this topic and gives some other result of customer satisfaction from a user who owns a Surface Book and Surface Pro. The Surface Team’s mission is and has always been to make devices that deliver great experiences to our customers and fans.     This is why today’s Consumer Reports survey is disappointing. While we respect Consumer Reports, we disagree with their findings. The surface had quite a journey over the last few years, and we’ve learned a lot. In the Surface team, we track quality constantly, using metrics that include failure and return rates – both our predicted 1-2-year failure and actual return rates for Surface Pro 4 and Surface Book are significantly lower than 25 percent. Additionally, we track other indicators of quality such as incidents per unit (IPU), which have improved from generation to generation and are now at record lows of well below 1%.

    Surface also ranks highly in customer satisfaction. 98% of Surface Pro 4 users and Surface Book users say that they are satisfied with their device*, and our Surface Laptop and new Surface Pro continue to get rave reviews.

    Panos is giving some other customer satisfaction chart which makes Microsoft better as we compared from the issue one. While some points like incident per unit are really low which makes Surface devices more reliable. There is a fine line between quality and reliability and Surface devices stand on both these words.
