The debate between iPad and MacBook is always creating a distinct result as both devices are made for a different approach but Microsoft might take both these devices in one-shot with their semi-secret folding table which event unveiled at a press event this fall.
The foldable device from Microsoft is still in the prototyping stage as the software requires more optimization. Microsoft has already sent out media invites for their upcoming event which is going to be held on 2nd October. The event star device may be dual-screen “Centaurus”, along with refreshed versions of other Surface computers.
Microsoft Centaurus has already had Windows 10 O.S. running inside the device. Although Microsoft still needs to polish the interface to support all the feature and design of the device. Microsoft Centaurus is two display folding device it’s not like Samsung’s or Huawei fold approach as shown by the Microsoft employee. The device is pretty sleek and easier to use, there are many citing of the device earlier this year.
Centaurus is outside the reality
Talking about the device hardware is powered with an Intel’s Lakefield processor and Centaurus are reportedly going to be powered by a version of Windows designed specifically for the dual-screen computer. It may approach like Android dual screen API. The two computers can perform two tasks separately when needed which not able to possible in today’s device.
More Surface updates possible too
The October 2 event will also feature other devices which include Surface Pro 7 as its predecessor has announced the same date last year. Microsoft Surface Go devices won’t able to make any dents to the marker as it’s competitor iPad has already have a monopoly in those markets. Surface Go inferior hardware really don’t like by the people and surely won’t able to make attraction.
Surface Book 2 also needed to update as it was announced Oct of 2017 which made the device lags behind many devices but minor hardware change in 2018 made the device coup up with other in terms of processor and GPUs.
