Apple iPhone 11 sale is on top-chart in every country in which they launched the product and it seems that this lineup of iPhone will let Apple bring back its crown of being the top smartphone vendor. Apple already pushing its shipments of all the iPhone lineups than expected to meet the overgrowing demands. But Apple has to compete with low-prices smartphone markets and Apple’s iPhone SE is one of the best-priced smartphones which is still able to run on Apple’s latest iOS 13 software, Apple is planning to bring another iteration of iPhone SE called as “iPhone SE 2” in the first quarter of 2020, according to noted analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.
But this time Apple is planning to go a bit further with this smartphone as according to a research note with TF International Securities, Kuo said that the device will feature similar form factors as of iPhone 8, but from inside it will be powered by A13 Bionic Chipset and 3GB of RAM. This specification will really outperform from many low priced smartphones in the industry and Apple could bring back a low price but the best iPhone in the markets.
Apple is planning to launch this product in the spring of 2020, they may announce a special event in March of 2020. iPhone SE 2 will likely help Apple to increase some market share in growing countries, according to report it is expected that Apple could reach 30-40 mn units in 2020. Kuo believes the “iPhone SE 2” will be the “best upgrade choice” for an estimated 100 million remaining iPhone 6 and 6 Plus users, serving as a “key growth driver” for Apple in 2020. Kuo also believes that customer has low desire for high-end features like multiple camera or FaceID, so Apple may stick to TouchID and a single camera lens.
Pricing of iPhone SE 2 will be more crucial for Apple as they already are in the market with iPhone XR for $599 and iPhone 11 $699 with all those high-end features so convincing users to buy iPhone SE 2 at price of $400 will be much harder.
