iPhone 8 OLED Panel Report Says Sharp Will Manufacture At Foxconn Factory: Foxconn Apple primary hardware maker now taking its full advantage of its acquisition of Sharp. As Sharp is known for the Display, as from the reports its coming that their OLED production may set up for at an iPhone assembly factory. As this report is said by Nikkei cited by Digitimes.
As many rumors asset for iPhone new Display panel may be OLED, manufacturing partner of Apple is start building their own production and assembly factories fast. As Sharp plans to invest JPY100 billion (US$864 million) set OLED production line at Foxconn Electronics factory in Zhengzhou City, northern China.
But the production facility won’t be ready until 2018-2019 so Apple iPhone 8 OLED won’t manufactured there. Apple has big plans for their upcoming iPhone with various other feature like Wireless Charging.
iPhone 8 OLED Display is yet to come soon
As from the reports back in September Apple was negotiating with Sharp to supply OLED panel for their iPhone 8.Sharp CEO also suggested that Apple would limit OLED to a single model of iPhone 8 as from the report which meant that Apple may bring only one model of iPhone 8 with other iPhone 7’s model which will use only LCD display according to reports.
Apple has various another partner like LG, Samsung and many other so there is no limitation to Sharp as major questions arises here if Apple will bring the iPhone, 8 model, while other ones are iPhone 7’s.
Apple one device is currently using OLED display is Apple Watch and Apple wanted to evolve OLED Display to another device, while recent MacBook Pro Touch Bar also uses OLED panel but it’s not full display. Apple also testing OLED display for future MacBook Display. So expecting that Apple will evolve their product lineup with all these gorgeous Display technologies which help Apple to achieve more user satisfaction toward quality.
OLED is a little bit expensive to manufacture nowadays but when all industry put their step in OLED industry may make an OLED product more accessible to a user, OLED produce better color, it is slim, power efficient and color specifically darker color looks fantastic.
