Google Launched Its First-Ever Wireless Earbuds & Named It As Pixel Buds: Google has introduced itself to a new hardware market during an event where it announced its much-awaited second Generation Google Pixel Smartphone device but this time with no headphone jack. As no headphone jack has been provided this time so it is seen to be compensating with another launch in the hardware section i.e the Wireless Earbuds called as The Pixel Buds. These Earbuds have touch controls & integrated access to the Google Assistant. Google in order to sweeten the pill of not having a headphone jack in Pixel 2 devices, introduced a new pair of wireless earbuds that look great, following the premium design of Pixel line.
Pixel Buds From Google Are Here To Compensate Headphone Jack Absence In Pixel 2:
It is important to notice that these earbuds are not fully independent & wireless unlike the Airpods from Apple as these two are connected with a fabric tether which has a certain portion looping through the earpiece. That loop size can be easily adjusted according to one’s ear size for a comfortable & secure fit into the ear.
On to the right earbud, there are touch controls that are used to enable the Google Assistant & issue voice commands to play music, send a text, or get walking directions. While Double-tapping on the right earbud after hearing a notification alert tells Google Assistant to read the new message to the user, it also allows the users to control music playback, adjust the volume, and answer calls.
Another great additional feature with the software is its ability to use Google Translate. With it, the user will be able to get the real-time translation with Pixel Buds and Google Translate. The earphones hear you and your Pixel’s speaker will play the translation in another language, When the other person speaks, you’ll hear the translation right in your ear. The phone app will let you translate and broadcast what you want to say as well.
The wireless earphones feature up to five hours of playback time per charge. The charging case also allows for multiple charges without needing to be plugged in every time & also the charging case features a USB-C connection, not micro USB, so you only have to carry around one cable for your Pixel phone and Pixel Buds.
In a very similar manner to that of the Pixel 2, the Pixel Buds are also available in three different colors. Starting from now you can book a Pre-Order for just $149 & the package will start shipping most probably by the next month.
