Google Chromecast Ultra: 4K Resolution, Dolby Vision: This small sized device promises far better imaging quality than the predecessor chromecast $35 & it is so because the later one can stream 4K & High Definition Resolution Videos that may be available from any one of the streaming providers, whether it be Netflix or Youtube. Or the Google’s own play TV which will be most probably coming in November. The device – Chromecast Ultra will be playing all 4K & HDR videos.

NEED FOR ULTRA:
Nowadays As the devices with the capability to play 4K videos i.e. 4K TVs have become cheaper & still going down so the need to bring 4K capable devices to connect to the TVs is more.
So Google is coming up with the all new Chromecast ultra which is a media streaming device, that plugs into the HDMI port on your 4K TV & you can simply use your mobile device to control, Play & Pause the media streaming on the TV.
It is most important for you to know that the Ultra is the first device which can handle both HDR10 & Dolby vision formats through a single platform. The predecessors from Nvidia & Xiaomi were only supporting HDR10 formats So, this is an extraordinary addition to the ultra.
It is very hard to detect the difference when playing a 1080p HD video with NETFLIX as its imaging is so sharper than the 1080p. Being working at higher dynamic ranges HDR may prove to be having more improved contrast & colors.
IMPORTANT ADDITIONS:
This time, Google has included an Ethernet port too that is based on the power adapter of Ultra along with the tiny plucks for hanging off the dongle with TV’s HDMI port.
With the additions, Google claims it to be 1.8 times faster than the current version of chromecast.
LIMITATIONS:
Although there will be limited playoffs as you will definitely need a compatible 4K TV & streaming will be restricted to certain videos only. The bandwidth required will be around 15 Mbps or even more.
AVAILABILITY:
The device will be made available by November this year for approx $69.
