Apple Watch Series 5 yet not made its appearance to the real world at much extent and Apple is starting producing next-generation Apple Watch which may be called Apple Watch Series 6 if they stick to naming series. According to Foxconn and Compal Electronics, they have obtained orders to assemble 2020 models of the Apple Watch. The report adds that Luxshare Precision will likely take orders for older Apple Watch models. Series 5 has really defined what a smartwatch should be which has all the requested features, but Apple still missing some features like sleep tracking or blood glucose monitoring in the device.

Compal Electronics and Foxconn Technology Group (Hon Hai Precision Industry) have obtained orders for the 2020 series of Apple Watch, while China-based Luxshare ICT will likely take orders for old-generation Apple Watch devices, according to industry sources. Quanta computer who is manufacturing Apple Watch Since 2015 is likely to hit because of these new vendors into the market, so Quanta is likely to stop assembling the Apple Watch in 2020 due to alleged “profit concerns”.

Apple is currently pioneering in wearable health technology as features like ECG/EKG tracking is present in smartwatch which sounds insane if talk about a decade ago, but Apple has made Apple Watch monitor these type of metric. But one of the most concerning health issue among user is Blood Glucose which hits the whole world in some way, there has been a rumor that Apple has a team of biomedical engineers working on a method for non-invasively monitoring blood glucose levels using optical sensors. Apple already pushing this optical sensor for measuring various heart-related activity not measuring blood glucose will really solve the future problem easily.

In 2020 Apple is trying to shift their display technology toward MicroLED rather pushing for LED or OLED as MicroLED has already many benefits as compared with OLED or LED and we could soon see a device from Apple which will purely feature a MicroLED display. MicroLED also makes its debut in Apple Watch Series 6 as it could provide thinner, brighter and more power-efficient display as compared to current OLED models. Apple may also 5G in their next-generation Apple Watch Series 6 models would likely arrive in September 2020.
