Apple might not introduce MacBook Pro and iPad Pro but 2020 may be the best year to introduce this product. Apple updates iPad Pro every one and a half year so it is expected that Apple will introduce iPad Pro by 2020, MacBook Pro 16-inch has also created a buzz this year but won’t able to make its introduction yet. But one of the most interesting products of 2020 may be Apple lower-cost iPhone or “iPhone SE 2”.
Apple still dominated small screen market as their iPhone earlier than iPhone 6 have pretty small display as compared with competitors but Apple move their attitude towards what customer wants and introduce iPhone 6 and then onwards Apple moved to larger screen segment but they did not forget small screen segment as in 2016 Apple introduces iPhone SE which looks similar to iPhone 5S but as specifics same as iPhone 6S. So you might think about how Apple still making innovation in the small size smartphone segment.
A rumor from Ming Chi Kuo who expected that Apple will produce 20 million iPhone SE 2 which is set to be released in 2020. Apple could increase production by 30 million units if the situation becomes too optimistic as said by Kuo.
According to Kuo, the iPhone SE 2 will use a 10-layer Substrate-like PCB (SLB) for its motherboard, which will benefit some iPhone suppliers like Pending Holdings, Xinxing, and AT&S despite the fact that it’s expected to be a less expensive component than the SLP used in the iPhone 11 series.
Kuo also shared some details about the design of iPhone SE 2 as it may look same as iPhone 8, as iPhone SE 2 might only mislead customer who is buying iPhone 8 ending to buy iPhone SE 2 in future.
But specs of the device will be pretty solids as it will feature a 4.7-inch display, a single-lens rear camera, and a Touch ID fingerprint sensor. Inside the device will feature Apple’s A13 Chip which introduces along iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro, and it will have 3GB of RAM.
Pretty solid specs could cost pretty much as it is expected that iPhone SE 2 will cost pretty much about $399. At that price point, it will replace the iPhone 8, which Apple currently sells for $449. Apple iPhone 6 has still pretty strong sales so Apple could hope to maintain this market. So they could bring some refreshments to this sector.
It is also expected that Apple could launch this product so they can dominate emerging smartphone markets like India and China, where competition is pretty insane. The new iPhone is expected to come out in the spring of 2020, in which Apple could launch its other expected products like iPad Pro and MacBook Pro 16-inch which could feature micro-LED display.
