Apple Is Expecting To Launch Its Watch 3 Series In Second Half Of This Year After the Apple Watch 2 that was released in September 2016, now Apple is reported will launch new Apple Watch which would be call as Apple Watch series 3 in the second half of this year. Apart from the new series, Apple will continue to manufacture its older series at different price range. Last year, Apple shipped 12 million watches and it was almost 50% sell share in the market of smartwatches.
Apple Watch 3 Expected Launch This Year
According to the report of DigiTimes, Compal Electronics will also manufacture Apple Watch Series 2 along with Quanta Computer which was the sole supplier of that series. However, the report suggested that Quanta will still be the sole supplier of the new upcoming model of Apple Watch hat will be launch in second half of this year. Last year, Compal shipped 5M wearables and Internet of thing devices, Compal is going to manufacture Apple Watch units after the low demand of laptop computer manufacturing.
It is also reported that in the external design of the Series 3 Watch there would be no change or whether it would have very little change. It may add some new features into it to enhance its performance. The main focus of Apple Watch 3 would be its battery life as suggested by the report.
The new features that may include in the upcoming Apple Watch are LTE version which would be the first in the Apple Watch Series, without a companion iPhone a data connection may be there. The new Apple Watch Series 3 is rumored to unveil in September this year along with the iPhone 8.
