Samsung Galaxy S8 Adding Another Feature, Never Seen In An iPhone: Leak Reveals: As expected from Samsung & Apple after seeing the tough competition between the two in bringing up with new technologies & features to smartphones, hopefully, we will be getting another two impressive smartphones in the coming year. The designs this time from both the brands is going to be all new. As discussed in a separate post earlier about the all glass design that is to be featured with the new iPhone 8, Samsung will also be hopefully featuring the S8 with all glass design. Another similarity between the two may be the OLED displays with fingerprint scanners incorporated within them. Both the smartphone manufacturers are also working on the curved screens & Dual lens rear camera.

So now coming to the latest leak that reveals about the front facing camera. The Samsung Galaxy S8 may have a better front facing camera feature too that has reportedly not been found in any of the iPhones till now. And the feature, according to a Korean website is the Autofocus Front facing the camera in Galaxy S8 that will make possible to take much better & improved performance of the front camera for better selfies.
Samsung is all in the flow to satisfy people of the current scenario, as most of the users are nowadays more concerned about the selfies than the rear camera features of their smartphones. And to make a difference from other branded smartphones & fulfill user demands of better selfie experiences, Samsung is bringing up the new Autofocus feature to the front facing camera. This will also enable Samsung to build a different image of its brand among its users.
In order to add the new feature of Autofocus to its front facing camera, they have found a way out to do the same without increasing the size of the camera module or even the side of the phone. According to ETN news, the Galaxy S8 will be using an encoder method that consists of coils from the side in place of a Voice coil motor which is currently being used in rear camera for autofocus.
Although Samsung itself has yet not clarified anything about the addition of the new feature to the upcoming device in 2017 i.e. Samsung Galaxy S8. Still, we will have to wait & see that what will be the additions to the newcomer in the coming year. It will be interesting to see whether Apple will bring any such type of feature to its iPhone 8 and add the autofocus to its facetime camera or not. Hold on your questions as it is & wait for the new device to get ready for launch which is expected to be launched in the early March the coming year which is very earlier than the iPhone 8 release that will be releasing sometime in the September of 2017.
