LG has always been promising in bringing a challenging technology with its displays. Last year rollable OLED TV R was launched that was a very big hit. This time new LG OLED Display is going to launch at the mega event CES 2020 in Las Vegas. According to LG, the new screens i.e OLEDs are designed to cover walls of airplanes and as quoted “enabling people to feel more openness in the narrow space of an enclosed cabin”.

New LG OLED Display Will Be 40% Transparent

With the host of new LG OLED displays, comes a 55 inches of Full HD transparent OLED display with 40% transparency (will be used as a partition in the cabin), a 65 inches Ultra HD Bendable OLED display (can be controlled to bend at either end), a 13.3 inches Plastic OLED tablet will be coming up.

Other purposes and features for this transparent, plastic and rollable OLEDs will be showcased for use in vehicles and offices. Another 48 inches traditional OLED will also be showing off and this will be a first one from LG in the pipeline of earlier released 55, 65, 77 and 88 inches of such traditional displays.

According to the brand, LG will also have updates for its Ultrathin Wallpaper OLEDs, which includes an 88 inches 8K Cinematic sound OLED display with an 11.2 channel sound system. These OLEDs will be generating sound directly from the display itself. The roll down displays will moreover function like a projector, dropping down from the ceiling as a fully functional display. All the listed displays look promising as always expected from such a renowned brand, that can be seen during the event along with their availability and costs.
