Samsung introduced improved and more creative SSDs with fingerprint reader named as Samsung T7 Touch external at CES 2020. Generally, if it is about the improvement in SSDs majorly its dealt with two factor including Speed of the drive and more storage but this time Samsung’s T7 Touch external SSD has more features like it has inbuilt fingerprint reader that will help to secure your file and it will also be more convenient in order to transfer.

This feature can say it will provide security to your data even when you are working on a laptop that does not have a fingerprint sensor. This Samsung T7 Touch will be able to register up to four different fingerprints, said by Samsung, which will allow the user to share the drive with their colleagues and friends as per their convenience. Apart from the fingerprinting, the new SSD has light as an indicator that will allow the user to know that drive is transferring data.
To make it more protective while falling from the height of up to meters, Samsung used aluminum to make chasis. It has a single USB-C port to connect it with USB-C to USB-C or USB-C to USB-A cable. New SSD also has writing speed up to 1,000MB/s and reading speed up to 1,050MB/s as compared to the previous SSD is almost double speed. Along with this, a T7 model without fingerprint will also be released by the company in Q2 2020.
T7 Touch external SSD with fingerprint reader will be available in the market by end of this month at cost of $129.99 for 500Gb model, $229.99 for 1TB storage, and $399.99 for the 2TB storage.
