Sennheiser HD 820 & CX 6.00BT Launched At CES 2018: Here we go for the initiation of the Acoustic section at CES 2018 with the very versatile brand i.e. Sennheiser. The brand has just stepped into the event & showed upon its CX 6.00BT earbuds, that are most probably designed to compete with the Apple’s BeatX earphones with its light weight design & its compatibility with the Qualcomm’s apt-X audio. These earbuds also support the latest Bluetooth v4.2 for easy flowing connectivity. Another addition to this section is the HD 820 headphones having curved Corning Gorilla Glass covered transducers & that is also the successor of the HD 800 that was released last year.
The CX 6.00BT & HD 820 From Sennheiser Are Out Now At CES 2018
With the Sennheiser CX 6.00BT we will be getting a around neck cable designned & angled ergonomic earpieces, that will be very light weighted too according to the company. If they have to be believed that would only weight about 14 grams & will be available with four sizes of ear adapters for reducing ambient external noises. And with these earbuds the brand has also provided Qualcomm apt-X low latency compatibility for enhanced gaming & watching experiences as that would keep the audio transmission in sync with the visuals very perfectly. That could even be paired with up to two devices simultaneously through its multi-connection support & also facilitating the user for three way calling that has been made possible through the present microphone & cVc noise cancellation technology.
Although on the other hand, the Sennheiser HD 820 has a silver cladded OFC cable with gold plated plugs. These headphones have Sennheiser Ring radiator transducers with Corning Gorilla Glass featuring curved glass covers uniquely. Also with this the company has made a pure promise of comfort as its ear pads are touted to be handcrafted from hight quality, microfibre material that are totally non-allergic synthetic leather only. And as far as innovativeness is concerned they have provided a Pentaconn connector as the new standard for the outputs to the device.
A quick comparison between the two would say it all finally as the CX 6.00BT comes with a 6 hours of battery life & a fast USB charging technology that can easily add 2 hours of extended battery life in just 10 minutes & finally fully charges the device in about 1.5 hours as the company claims. While the HD 820 shows a closed back stereo headphone design that is circumaurallly dynamic & as the company believes it to be helping in reflection of the sound waves from the rear of the transducer of the two absorber chambers which finally minimises the resonance.
However if we talk about the price & availability of the two the the first one to go on sale would be the Sennheiser CX 6.00BT earbuds that will be up for sale in the US right from this month at a price of $99.95 while for the HD 820 headphones users will have to spent about $2,399.95 & that too will be getting available by the early summers this year.
