iPhone X Ranked Below iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus By Consumer Reports: On Tuesday, the results on iPhone X testing were shared by Consumer Reports and in this report, iPhone X though got the recommendation but it was not able to maintain its rank above the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus. Apple’s recently released flagship iPhone X has successfully entered into top 10 smartphone list by gaining number 9 position.
The iPhone X features the best camera till date for both taking photos and making videos. but in battery life and durability, iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus are comparatively better than iPhone X, stated Consumer Reports 2017. All the three iPhone models are made up of glass body and durability test for these models was tested by tumble test and fumbles of about 2.5 feet. iPhone X model undergoes serious body damage after 50-100 tumbles but iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus had screen defects with few scratches on it. iPhone X has shown the better result in water resistance test.
The rear camera on the iPhone X is among the best we’ve ever seen. In fact, if you combine the performance scores for stills and video, this is the highest-rated smartphone camera Consumer Reports has tested – Consumer Reports. Head of smartphone testing at CR said that “If not for the damage in that durability test, the iPhone X would have come in ahead of the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus,”.
The next test was for battery life in which iPhone X lags behind iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus. Consumer Reports found that the battery life in iPhone X was less than Samsung’s phones such as its Galaxy S8 that runs longer than iPhone X. In CR’s test report, the Battery life of Galaxy S8 is 26 hours, iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus have 21 hours battery life while iPhone X runs only for 19.5 hours.
On the basis of battery life, Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus make it place on the position of top two recommended smartphones while the iPhone 8 Plus and the iPhone 8 in spots number three and four respectively. However, iPhone X makes it place on number nine position.
