Sony is one of the leading TV manufacturer companies in the world and now it has come with its first TVs for the year 2020 i.e Sony Master Series A9S. Among all the TVs that announced, Sony has made its smallest 4K OLED TV which is 48-inch Master Series A9S. Along with this, Sony has also announced 8K LCD TV, the 85 or 75 -inch Sony Z8H, A8H OLED which is available in two sizes that is 65-inch and 55-inch. 8K LCD TV is the high-end model made by the company.

Two new LCD ranges were also announced by the company that includes X950H and X900H that will be available in the range between 49 inches to 85 inches. This year at CES, other TV manufacturing companies also announced smaller TVs like LG announced a 48-inch model.

Sony Master Series A9S: 48-inch 4K OLED TV

However, Sony hasn’t talked about this but the possible reason could be that both Sony and LG are using the same panel from LG Display. Apart from that, we could also expect the 48-inch size TVs from other OLED TV manufacturers including Panasonic, Vizio, and Philips.

LG and Sony are using almost the same OLED panels, Sony’s Acoustic Surface technology is included in the Sony Master Series A9S OLED and in these panels are used to project the sound, and it will appear like it is coming from the screen. X1 Ultimate processors are used for picture processing. Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos also a part of the Sony TVs. Before that even in the past, Sony has come with its smallest range of TV, in 2007 Sony announced XEL-1 that was the first OLRD TV with having only 11-inch screen size.

Sony also included some new features in its range like Sony’s Z8H is the only TV that has backlit remote, and new Frame Tweeter technology. All these TVs are also compatible with Google Assistant. Sony’s X950H also featured with all new “X-Wide Angle” that is included to improve the angle.

All the ranges that announced are based on Android 9 and supporting connectivity with Apple AirPlay 2, HomeKit, and Amazon Alexa-enabled devices. Cost and availability of these TVs are not yet announced and for this Sony said that they will announce the more details this spring, till then we have to wait for the pricing and availability.
