macOS High Sierra By Apple With Improvements In Many Apps: With so many announcements at WWDC, Apple has also announced macOS 10.13 name as macOS High Sierra, it is the latest version of macOS. With the update, the macOS receives new features, improved performance, interface tweaks and much more. The users will have the update later this year. The macOS High Sierra focused on deep technology and many improved features. The macOS High Sierra gives most advanced technology for the storage, improved Apps for Photos, Safari, Mail, improved video quality and graphics and much more. Apple has announced the all new macOS High Sierra at WWDC on June 5, 2017, 03:09 PM Eastern Daylight Time SAN JOSE, California.

Safari Improvements
At the event, Apple has introduced the software updates for devices. The improved Safari version will be available in the device. Safari is the fastest web browser of the company and with the new macOS High Sierra, we will have improved Safari. Safari in macOS High Sierra will be able to perform the function of auto-play blocking for video advertisements and to protect the user’s browser and history data, intelligent tracking protection is available.
The mail app in Apple will also receive improvements with macOS High Sierra. The improvements in mail app bring support for Top Hits search and the users will be able to find emails during search very easily. Updates will also bring support for Split View Mail Compose so that a split window pane between the compose interface and other applications will be available for the user.
APFS
Apple Filesystem will also be included in the macOS. The new Filesystem will have the capability to instantly duplicating a file as demonstrated by Federighi. The Apple Filesystem was first introduced in iOS 10.3 earlier this year. Apple File System comes with improved features to enhance the performance, security, and reliability of the data and it also gives the opportunity for the future storage innovations. As today’s storage requirement is also very high, its advanced structure will be able to store the mass of data very effectively.
APFS will easily manage the common tasks such as copying files and directories instantaneous, it will also help to the data from power outages and system crashes and will make our files safe and secure.
Metal 2+ VR
Apple included the new Metal 2 graphics engine with the macOS High Sierra. With this feature, there will be lots of graphic improvements will come to see in Mac. The metal 2+ VR will bring 10x improvement as compared to Metal 1 in graphics.
High Sierra will support spherical video functionality, VR engines and Metal integration with virtual reality.
Improved images
According to Federighi, with the updates of macOS, there will be very impressive features will come in Photos. New editing tools, more advanced editing technologies and much more will come with macOS High Sierra. New drop down for filtering content will also be included in the updated macOS. Powerful new tools for editing pictures includes new Curves for fine tuning of color and contrast, users will also be able to adjust color within defined range of color options available. Users will also have access to use printing and publishing services including Animoto, ifolor Shutterfly, Whitewall and Wix.
h.265 Video Codec
In the updated macOS High Sierra h.265 Video Codec will be used, it is the higher version of h.264 which is used in older macOS. This higher Video Codec will bring 40 percent higher compression without affecting the quality of pictures and videos so that our video files will become small in size which will be easily manageable.
High-Efficiency Video Coding
The macOS High Sierra will support video streaming and playback of 4K video files at very good quality with the smaller size which will be easy to manage and for the storage, it will occupy less space. This has become possible due to the introduction of the h.265 standard.
Virtual Reality
It is the first time when the macOS will support VR content. It will enable the developer to make immersive gaming, 3D and VR content on the Mac. It is also reported that the leading VR companies are working with Apple so that VR will drive on the Mac and the features will come later this year for the users. The macOS High Sierra is available for the developers and it will be available for the users later this fall.
