Rumor 1: For Release Date:
Although there were many rumors related to the launch of the S8 & now Samsung had publically opened & denied the rumors of accelerating the launch of the S8. Usually, the Galaxy S series launch slot is on the main press day prior to the MWC 2017 event So it may release on 26, February 2017. The availability may be likely within 2-3 weeks of release.
However, some rumors also claim of pushing back the launch by the month of April due to some reasons. The news was a noticeable on from The Wall Street Journal & Bloomberg. Since the problems which the company had a face in the last few months, they may go for a delayed launch in April too.
Rumor 2: Specifications:
Surprisingly any of the following rumored specs are not yet confirmed by the company itself but these are the expected specifications if everything goes on the way. Accordingly, the S8 may be having 5.5 inches or 5.1 inches of Super AMOLED display, Powered by either Snapdragon 830 or Exynos 8895 chipset. The OS that will be made available might be Android 7.1 Nougat with 6 GB of RAM. However, some recent rumors also reveal it to be the Snapdragon 835 also. About the storage capacities, there are several rumors of it to be 64, 128 or a 256 GB supported device. The S8 may feature the new Hybrid Card Slot that supports both the microSD expansion & Samsung’s new UFS memory cards too.
Samsung had made clear publically about the rumors of Stereo speakers in the S8 & said that the Harman Audio will not come to Galaxy devices until 2018. Some news regarding the ditching of the headphone audio jack while adding a USB Type- C connector in place of that, is also taking turns all around. About the display resolution, earlier claims were for the QHD firstly but later turned towards the 4K & now mixed reports on both the type of resolutions are coming into the news. While heard about the previous rumors it was to be an improved Dual-lens camera at the rear end. According to the reports claiming that this time Samsung is opting for two 16MP at the rear end & an 8MP front facing the camera. Several other claims talk about a Dual-lens camera of 12MP on the back end. However, according to the Bloomberg, the dual camera setup is not being considered due to some high costing issues now on.

As the presence od the dual lens camera & other costly components may bring a hike in the pricing of the S8, it is reasonable to believe that. In another way it may reduce the price for attracting consumers after the last time failure of its device in the market. Multiple options of price with different storage capacities can be made available to the users this time. So it may be priced for $670 with 32Gb storage, $770 with Edge variant of 32 GB storage. Although it is possibly not going to be a flat screened device so the price will be starting moreover from a range of $800 approximately, while increased storage & adding dual lens camera will surely increase the price.
